I’m impressed that he could puke like that and then immediately snap the ball and play like nothing happened

Reminds me of the state championship game when Riley Dodge puked then threw a TD…

What are you basing this on? Next Gen stats disagrees with you since he, I believe, still has the fastest run by a QB so far this season (19.47 mph).

People around here need to stop validating their own biased "eye test" in arguments. There's plenty of valid resources available to prove or disprove some opinions.

He doesn't base any of his takes on anything - just spews negative BS every day.  Just gloss over it and move on - some people are just miserable.

Lol. Thanks.  I guess I'll be late.  I'm not leaving till around 12 or so.

You think Hurts is fast?

Yea anything negative about Hurts is just spewing hate.  Hasn’t given us anything to chew on with negative takes.

You have to admit that coming to the conclusion that "every qb must suck because I can't possibly be wrong that Jalen Hurts is a bad qb" is quite an interesting hill to die on.

@mattwill

Wasn’t that a pretty satisfying Sunday of football?  Eagles need to take advantage.  If they elevate Campbell and Jenkins, the Eagles get pretty fast with AJ out.  Will be interesting to see how Howie/Nick address backup C.  But AJ is Hurts safety blanket and that may impact the score.  Expect a lot of Robinson and Barkley.  Defense should wreak havoc on Cousins.

Eagles 31

Dirty birds 17

Bonus:  Gainwell with a score

Good news DAL and SF lost, bad news NO looks good. They are doing the Shanahan offense well, plenty of motion, plenty of heavy sets, staying on schedule with the run game, collectively minimizing the pressure on Carr and allowing him to take shot plays downfield behind max protection.

Rather than playing 3 LBs to counter 12 personnel, maybe Dejean gets more time as the heavy nickel.

Doesn't matter how good we look against the Falcons, there is no way we will be 5.5 pt favorites on the road against a Saints team that's been blowing the doors off of the two teams they've faced.

It'll be interesting to see where the betting lands actually if we absolutely destroy the Falcons,

Green Bay were highly rated coming in to the season and just beat the Colts on the road with Malik Willis under center, they absolutely ran all over the Colts and made our defensive effort on opening day look a lot more respectable.

The Saints beat a Carolina team that looks to be heading for 0-17 unless they suddenly sign an O Line and a QB whisperer. and a Cowboys team with a reputation based on historical bias and beating up on a Browns team that couldn't get out of it's own way offensively on opening day.

If we see off Atlanta convincingly, I think the betting will be a lot closer than you think.

Smith, Dotson, Covey, Campbell (called up). That's the WR group tonight right? Am I missing anyone?

The only thing to make that line land at -5.5 would be an injury to someone like Carr, Kamara, Shaheed, Olave, etc.

The counterpoint is if Hurts plays like he did last week, and the D is still weak against the run - we might be looking at a close game.

I said I can’t be wrong that he’s a bad QB?

He’s a mobile QB who really isn’t that fast anymore and struggles to throw on the run

He was never particularly fast but that doesn't mean he's not a threat to pick up yards on the ground. And he throws on the run just fine. There are plenty of things to bash Hurts for, but these two don't really register. Then again, you knew it was a bad take when you self-described it as a "grenade", because it definitely blew up in your face.

Unless Wilson can go yeah pretty much. I think Saquon could be a big part of the passing game too though. I wouldn't be surprised to see him  in the top 3 in receptions tonight.

Would be great to see Goedert step up and show he's a good-great TE.

Might be time for Goedert to shine.

He does not throw well on the run.  And you are agreeing that he’s not that fast.  Message board posts don’t really blow up in one’s face, but I suppose this is your preferred world to live in.

This made me laugh

He wasn't that fast in 2022 and was still a significant threat in the ground game. And he absolutely throws well on the run. It's one of the things he does well, he's made plenty of A+ throws from outside the pocket. It's the decision making that he sucks at.

These are your words, bud...

OK…here’s the game day grenade I’ll drop on the blog before I log off for work for the day…

 A guy talking about dropping "grenades" before he logs off. That's the world you live in, having really dumb hot takes based on nothing but gut feelings and hunches, and then being forced to defend them when people call them out.

Apparently it failed to dislodge whatever is stuck up your arse when it blew up.  No need to get so hot and bothered about a post that says Hurts isn’t that good but neither is anyone else in the league.  Keep up the good work defending his honor in a message board.
