Apparently it failed to dislodge whatever is stuck up your arse when it blew up.  No need to get so hot and bothered about a post that says Hurts isn’t that good but neither is anyone else in the league.  Keep up the good work defending his honor in a message board.

Stay edgy and keep slinging those "grenades" at us

When was the last time geodert had a "good” game? I know he’s probably limited by hurts but seems ages since he had a 100+ yards in a game

Tonight

I will fully admit that I am tired of Hurts seemingly making terrible decisions at the absolute worst times - it started last year and continued in game 1 of this year.  He's got to be better there.  I think most people today seem to judge a QB solely on how far they can throw the ball and if they can throw it side armed while jumping horizontally and twisting in a pretzel.

I heard that there are some folks already in the parking lots on the morning news.  I don't know which lot(s) they are using though.

I’ve been down here since 9 AM at my normal tailgate spot on Lawrence setting up. So far not a big crowd. I’m sure by noon or 1 o’clock. It’s gonna start to pack. By 4 it will be a mad house

Would be great to see Goedert step up and show he's a good-great TE.

Would be great if Jalen read his progressions and looked his way. He gets tunnel vision on Brown too much. Wentz it was the TEs and was the gripe from Alshon. Hopefully this game gets some of that out of him and that is other players are pretty damn good.

Good news DAL and SF lost, bad news NO looks good. They are doing the Shanahan offense well, plenty of motion, plenty of heavy sets, staying on schedule with the run game, collectively minimizing the pressure on Carr and allowing him to take shot plays downfield behind max protection.

Rather than playing 3 LBs to counter 12 personnel, maybe Dejean gets more time as the heavy nickel.

I suspect we are seeing a version of Carr that will come down to earth in the coming weeks.

Kubiak is doing very well with that unit.  They scored over 40 points to end last season too.  It’s starting to click with them.  But yeah, I believe in the law of averages.  It’s not irrational to believe that they could also start smelling themselves a bit too much and get over confident

Jason Kelce will be in the booth for the 3rd quarter tonight calling the game with Aikman and Buck.

I’m impressed that he could puke like that and then immediately snap the ball and play like nothing happened

Hes going to be locking in on Smith who will be covered by Terrell all game Id imagine. Good match up to watch. And maybe a good test for Hurts to occasionally go through progressions.

I'm going to be home this week after being on the road 2 of the last 3 weeks...I plan on smoking a couple of birds (Falcons not Eagles 🤣) and drinking on the patio this evening/night and enjoying the game.

I tried to enjoy yesterday but my team didn't realize there was a game to be played. SMH.

The counterpoint is if Hurts plays like he did last week, and the D is still weak against the run - we might be looking at a close game.

Counter counterpoint, it’s very possible we played the best team on our schedule in the worst environment last week, Hurts had 3 turnovers and we still dropped 34 on them

put us at home against an inferior opponent and that the recipe for tonight

That in itself is impressive.

We’ve seen plenty of evidence of Shanahan offenses making average OLs look good, and most NFL QBs can produce when well protected. If Carr is forced to lead w/o a run game to rely upon, then yes the whole thing might fall off the rails.

If he can clean that up (and he needs to and with AJ out we really need the best version of Hurts tonight) then we should pick up the W.

Really need this game.  Well-favored at home.  Common opponent with the Cowboys.

Important for the vibes as well before facing NO and TB.

I don't think Carr can play consistently like he did the past two weeks.   He'll cool off at some point... its just who he is.  That said, he's still better than half the starting QBs in the league.
