I was also bored, so I calculated the average draft slot of the picks you listed above.  1997-2010 the average draft slot was 10.2, and 2011-2024 it moved up to 8.5

That 8.5 average is skewed over the past 10 years, where 2017 and 2022 are the only years a QB did not go #1 overall, and the past 3 drafts where QBs have either gone 1, 2, 3 overall or 3 of the top 4 picks.

Did that Netflix adjustment for volume work?

Surprised they cut Patrick Johnson given that the edge rushers are suspect until proven otherwise. He outplayed Nolan in the summer, not that TC/preseason mean the world but still. Probably outplayed Huff as well but we didn’t get to see him much in preseason.
