Which position group from the Packers do you think will give us the most trouble?  Minus QB

The Packers don't worry me that much as a team; they were 6-8 and beat the Panthers, Vikings, and Bears to reach the playoffs.  Having said that, Matt LaFleur is an excellent head coach and they do everything by committee instead of having superstars at any one position.

Frankly, we don't know what we're going to get from the Eagles defense, especially early in the season.  If they can't stop the run then Aaron Jones will be a problem.  I think we remember what happened when Reed Blankenship tried to chase down Christian Watson.  This will be the first look at a Fangio-Eagles defense.

The Packers also had a top 10 defense last season.  It will be interesting to see how they try to defend Hurts and how Hurts responds.  If Jordan Love outplays Hurts then it might not be a good result.

Last year their group of young receivers was solid. There wasn't really a go to receiver when they entered the playoffs, they seemed to spread the ball around really well. I haven't paid any attention to their offseason, but if they kept the receiver room intact they are going to be a handful.

Aaron Jones is a Viking now. They have a healthy Josh Jacobs, a banged up Emanuel Wilson and a probably not playing Marshawn Lloyd

Caden Sterns era over

Did the Eagles ever release a depth chart?  They used to…does the league require it ?

All these old heads out here getting paid

Random question, how is 35 year old Heyward compared to 2023 Fletcher Cox? Curious how our old legends compare

I was looking through the list of best remaining free agents just for craps and giggles.  I'm surprised David Bakhtiari is still out there. Yeah he's coming off an injury but still high end LTs don't grow in trees.

@mattwill

Eagles 31

Packers 34

I don’t think he’s been healthy since high school

I don't think either were ready at the time. McDaniel wasn't even an OC yet when the Eagles were looking. Neither was LaFleur. I don't think many if any teams have interviewed LaFleur for a HC job.

I guess but the Shanahan tree stretches pretty far back and I can't recall them ever interviewing anyone from it.

He was on the PS, so I don't think that rule applied.

May be they saw him a couple days in practice and realized no one would claim him so they'll keep his phone number and check back in a month to see if he's still limping.

Jalen, Donovan and Michael are going to be a new Documentary about the History of Black Quarterbacks on Amazon.  Michael is actually interviewing Black QB's past and present all over the Country.  Can't wait to watch:
