Who prepares the stadium for international games.  Do the Eagles ground crew come?  Uprights?  Field logos? Yard markings and lines?  Chains? Footballs?  All the things the home team usually handles?  Did Lurie have to pay for a separate plane for equipment? 

That stadium looks like a high school stadium in TX.

Time will tell if this was a wise strategy, but as it stands right now I'd have preferred, at least at some positions, to sign the older guy who you know is good but may not have a ton of upside.

A guy like Jordan Hicks for example. Yes he's older, but I'd have taken him 10 times out of 10 over Devin White. And even if they leaned Dean because of his upside, at least you'd have a guy backing him up that you know for sure isn't a liability and is a dependable player.

Every year Howie seems to go a little overboard with one particular trend he geeks out over. This year was scouring the NFL for young guys who've been busts as reclamation projects. If for whatever reason this season doesn't go well, I could see this being one of the many revisited angles the fans and Eagles talk about as where they messed up and should have gone with surer things even if they were a little older.

Good topic.  Beckton has promise in that regard. White not so much.  Campbell wasn't a very high pick so that's a tweener and Howie moved on with a stronger move. I definitely think the cap comes into play a bit. While people think Howie can do anything I see that he has a budget for future years hits and he is avoiding adding more big money even shedding Reddick.  Also if you add a high $ guy then you essentially write off draft picks like Dean.  I know Hicks wasn't that but just exploring the topic a bit

The highlights for that game came up on my YouTube feed recently.  I forgot that we essentially had two extra home games in 2017 when we went to LA to play the Chargers and Rams.

That soccer stadium was almost exclusively Eagles fans.

Eagles shipped a bunch of their equipment via boat.

"The first shipment of equipment – anything that is non-perishable (game tape, etc.) was sent via boat in early June. It arrived three weeks later."

I’m glad you and Vikas both loved the experience there. I went to the rams game at the coliseum that year. the rams fans were POS. Laughing and gloating that wentz got hurt. Also pushed an elderly couple trying to get to their seats. The view wasn’t bad and Rodney peete, his wife and kids sat in front of us. He talked to my brother and I before the game and at halftime. The other not great part is leaving that stadium at night. Had to go under the underpass into a really crappy neighborhood to get to the parking lot and car. You really didn’t feel safe leaving the stadium

For the official stuff that makes sense.  I would think mostly it is going to be NFL signage tbh.

I went to the Coliseum in 2018 for the 1st game Foles started after Wentz got shut down. It is a horrible stadium in a terrible part of town. We took the metro from West LA -- went with my buddy and his 2 teenage kids (same crew that went to SB 52). We sat first row behind the Eagles bench, so it was pretty much all birds fans. Getting home was a disaster, so I just hopped an uber.

Wentz getting hurt in that game made the win bittersweet at the time. My brother and I both looked at each other when we got the update at the stadium that could only happen to a Philly team to lose their best player to a torn knee during an mvp season.

leaving the stadium the amount of heckling we got from Rams fans about Nick Foles was through the roof. I wish after they won I could rub it in their faces. But yeah, leaving the stadium was a disaster. My brother and I thought we were either gonna get mugged on the way to the car as it was poorly lit and bad area of town or that the car just wasn’t gonna be there when we got there.

I was at the game in London which was a home game for the Jags but of course Eagles fans dominated both all around town the entire weekend and then in stadium.  Eagle chants were all over the place including at the Fulham soccer game which I went to and where the owner is the guy that owns the Jags.

Surprised they didn't bring Stoll. Gates and Jenkins are the only two that really make sense to elevate. Maybe Campbell instead of Jenkins?

They apparently use the same turf grass that both the Packers and Eagles use for their fields.

Grier is interesting.  Eagles seem to be treating him well.  Wonder if they see him as a third QB should they want to move either McKee or Pickett before the trade deadline.  Figure Gates (C) and Jenkins (3rd TE) are who they make active.  All except Sam have NFL experience. 

Stoll has a week with Moore’s offense. TE motion is part of it.  That motion makes Campbell a wildcard to be active because he was doing a bunch of the motion in TC and Dotson is going to be limited in what he has picked up.

The offensive system is not the same as last year’s. Some of the terminology has changed as well. Line play will not have changed much so Driscoll makes sense. The other guys have been here long enough to be comfortable with the new system, therefore Jenkins over Stoll.
