It wasn’t just Moses for Ruland. There were other elements too. But what really stood out to me that day was when my father told me the details, he said that there was a first rounder involved too. And my immediate reaction was "There damn well better be!” Because it was obvious that the Sixers were getting hosed in regards to the players. They at least deserved to get a first rounder out of the deal to make it somewhat closer to fair. And then it was revealed that WE were the ones trading a future first. It was staggering. It was so painfully one sided as to almost be laughable.

It may very well have been their darkest day. I know it was a turning point for me. My interest in the team severely diminished at that instant. I still root for them but I’ve never really followed them with much passion since that day.

Wilt Chamberlain traded away for Darry Imhoff and Archie Clark? MUCH darker.

Dont see the need to sign Stoll to the 53 unless he was going to be poached which is doiubtful since nobody claimed him on waivers.  Campbell will be active this weekend which will make three times so after that if they want to activate him he has to pass thru waivers.  To me it would have made more sense to sign Campbell if anybody.

I'm anything but a Jack Stoll fan, he's the jaggiest of jags at TE but the Eagles can't afford to lose a capable blocking TE with Calcaterra on this team. They've severely mismanaged TE over the last few years. Adding Stoll to the active roster at the very least gives them a decent blocking TE behind Goedert. Not only that, but they ran a lot of 3 TE sets in NO. With Brown, Smith and Covey out, you can expect a lot more 3 TE sets in the near future.

It could be that they are looking to move on from Calcaterra, he's pretty useless.  At least Stoll can block a little.

Calcaterra got knocked into next week by Pete Werner, so he should be back on the roster sometime around then.

Speaking of division titles......how come NFL and MLB divisions actually mean a little something.  But the NBA nobody even cares about divisions or division titles.  Most people couldn't even name the NBA divisions.  I don't know if they celebrate that in the NHL either.

Because NBA divisions don't matter and it has no affect on playoffs or seeding.

I think it's more of a long term move than short. Brown and Smith should be back after the bye at the latest. TE3 is more of a long term roster need so it doesn't make sense to sign Campbell just for this one upcoming game when he has an elevation left. Once Brown and Smith are healthy Campbell is the 5th WR and doesn't play ST's which makes him unnecessary on the 53. I think no matter what the plan was always either sign Campbell and elevate Stoll or sign Stoll and elevate Campbell. The latter just makes more sense for the season. 

Signing Ross to the PS leads me to believe they may have to call up both Campbell and Ross this weekend. 

If Vea/Kancey are both out again, it's a great front to run against lessening the need for WRs.

My theory is like Chip's offense, after a couple years, every DC knows how to defend it now. And it has some downsides that limit big plays while setting up negative plays.

What I want to know is what the f---- happened to the RB screen play - used to be the bread and butter play under AR and we have the perfect OL to run it.

Maybe. Probably go heavy 12 too.

Really depends on tomorrow. AJ hasn’t done any on field rehab yet so not sure how close he is. Smith could be anyone’s guess.
