It is a division game, while they’ve dominated the Giants for the last several years, division games are usually the most contested games for all NFL teams. You’re right though they look less than average.

Malik Hooker still can’t tackle and if Nabers was on the field on that last deep pass along the left sideline where Hooker jumped way way early, Nabers likely makes that catch and possibly scores.

The NFC East is trash this year and Washington is clearly starting to look like the birds biggest competition.

Watching the new Amazon Prime documentary Evolution of the Black Quarterback. Mike Vick hosts. First ep starts with Hurts & discussing the history of black QBs in Philly. He also interviews Rodney Peete. Pretty good so far.

Friday morning Predictions Update

RGIII, Wentz, and others took the league by storm early on and fell to earth. You are right they will figure him out, but maybe they got a good one.

This is true.   I picked up a chuck two days ago because it was half price.   It went into the freezer, because I have a whole tenderloin to deal with this weekend (it was also on sale) and there's only two of us in the house now with my son off to college.   But, we'll be eating like royalty for a couple days.  

 

BTW... for any of you who've never gotten an entire tenderloin before, it is WELL WORTH the effort to break down yourself and pay a cheaper price.  I got this 6.5 lb tenderloin for just $8.99/lb.   The chain (which is a bit labor intensive to break down and take the silver skin from actually makes wonder cheesesteaks), then you have the tail for ka-bobs, the head (or wing) can either be a nice little roast, a big one can make some steaks.   And then the center will provide about half a dozen steaks plus a nice Chateaubriand.   So, we get 2 cheesesteaks, a dinner of kabobs, 3 steak dinners (for 2) and a pair of nice sized roasts for about $60 plus the cost of my labor breaking it down.   Quite frankly, you can't beat that.  Currently precut filet mignons are running about $27/lb up to $35/lb.  So, by my calculations, all of this except for about 4 steaks are 'free'.  Well worth the effort, especially on a budget.

Yep…I do that often.  Then I make my chili with the smoked chuck.
