  • To the folks who have reached out to me asking about my health and welfare I send a huge amount of thanks.  The last three weeks have been challenging to say the least.  Fortunately no tragedies, but

If AJ is less than 80-90% healthy, sit him for this week as well.  His style of plays requires a strong body.  If he has physical limitation, it would get worse playing.

With Devonta out, I suspect AJ will play.  But I agree with @Penn7980 that it would be the prudent thing to let him sit one more week and then come back after the Bye.

Thanks Julian we couldn't read that ourselves

Where are you getting this from?

From common sense. Something people like you are severely lacking and we're refusing to believe he even wanted a new contract or would even hold out if he wasn't getting one.

If AJ's healthy enough to play, he should play.

No reason to get testy about it

While you're using that I'm getting $25M from multiple articles

Can we get losses to the Lions & Steelers?

"According to the Cleveland Clinic, it can take as many as six to eight weeks for a high ankle sprain to fully heal. High ankle sprains are more severe than common ankle sprains of the lower, outside part of the ankle.”

Depends if it's actually a high ankle sprain, or what they called Patrick Mahomes' "high ankle sprain", which was actually just a regular sprained ankle.

Found this guy breaking down the OL stunt pickup on Saquon's big run and he seems to do a decent job. Former OL apparently and Eagles fan, so that's always points in his favor. Also has a TikTok for those inclined to that.

Curious if Brown will play or it’s gamesmanship. No indication it was ever a serious hammy issue or he’d have been IR’d. But if they were cautious to this point wonder if they will lean on resting him one more game.

Of course he would given his current situation, he's staring down the barrel of wasting a year of his career making nothing, incredibly dumb. I wonder how much is Reddick and how much is his agent as far as the amount of money that he's holding out for.

At some point reddicks 25M expectation, prorated for the weeks he actually plays may become feasible.

On the same token he may end up taking less to come play just out if principle considering: 1. He somehow obviously feels wronged by the Jets. And 2. He apparently put it out there that he is willing to come back even though he knows the Eagles weren't paying him what he wanted either.

This almost feels like the Gardner-Johnson situation over again. Player doesnt get paid what he wants from Howie.  Goes elsewhere.  Still doesn't get paid.  Realized he had it pretty good in Philly and comes back.

I guess metlife turf strikes again. They were going to lose with or without them vs steelers.

I actually hope they win enough to pick in the teens vs a high pick

I'd rather pay $25 million for sacks than $17 million for no pressure at all.  I was OK with it all when it happened because I thought Huff would be almost as good.  But he ain't so gimme Reddick back.

No. Just no. Take him back and everybody and his brother is going to pull the same crap.💩

Positive him and Shanahan do not like each other

I don't think Reddick is as valuable under Fangio, he seems to have less use for one dimensional undersized pass rushing ends - he prefers the guys who can be stand up pass rushers in a 4-2 or move out to OLB and can play the run and at least not be a liability in coverage.

I think he'll trade talent for flexibility, the guys who can move around allow him to disguise his defenses and screw up blocking schemes.

Not only is there a prorated $25 million but he's also losing $800k per game. At what point does he say "I'd rather play and make money than not play and lose money". There's no end in sight to his holdout and he's up to $1.8 million in fines for the regular season. I think he was getting fined before the season started too. He's proving the reason it's so hard to cheer for a player. He'd rather pay $2 million to prove he's worth $25 million when he was already slated to make $14 million on top of his $50+ million in career earnings. Go F yourself to be honest.

Oh, I don't disagree at all. But spare me any feelings for this dude or wanting to cheer for him.
