It's like defenders try to shoulder tackle someone or just try to knock the ball carrier off balance.  It's simple.  Get to the ball carrier, wrap your arms around them and bring them to the ground.

That Debo TD was an example of that.

If he had a full practice but didn’t get cleared, he shouldn’t have had another full practice, because that wouldn’t make sense. He likely would have had another full practice if he wasn't cleared after the first one.  You repeat the step until you can do it successfully.
