He was fine today

Did I miss something in the 2nd half? Because the first half was a typical Hurts game with missed opportunities, poor throws, etc... except he didn't turn it over.

That's why they think he was "fine" today.  He didn't turn it over

That’s an odd thing to see. What happened?

That sounds like a medical emergency type situation... heart attack or similar?

We’re likely not going to play against a worse QB, a more depleted line and a team down to like their 4th RB.

A win is a win but it shows that there's so much wrong with this team

You didn’t miss much. If passable when not expected to do anything is acceptable then yes he was good. Outside of that he was terrible.

Looked like players were smiling.

Don't think they care honestly especially if they win.  I'm sure those fans were probably saying terrible things all game to the players.

They can smile about a win, and still observe their HC and think it's dumb.

The HC sets the tone. They talk a lot about standard and culture. You have examples of players not being focused like Maddox who yapped about Fortnite on the field during a loss, Slay posted his individual resume on Twitter after a loss to say they're not bad, then laughing with a division rival on a podcast about his own teammate, meanwhile on the field these guys are making lazy "tackles" and business decision plays. They are soft and undisciplined. They don't practice hard enough, they are not focused, they always have slow starts even after a bye. They are not being led by a leader of men. The HC is a clown who taunts fans, shaves his head and uses flower analogies for motivation, quotes his brother the high school coach for inspiration and sets the tone for a clown show of undisciplined football.

They need a HC to be serious and set the tone. Fun is fine but there's a time and place for everything.

Leadership matters.   By him doing that, it gives license to any of them to do the exact same thing.  And one of them WAS doing the exact same thing during the Saints' game, IIRC, and Sirianni had the audacity to try to tell him to knock it off.

It's not so much about how it makes the players feel, its more about holding them accountable when they do the wrong things, on the field, off the field, etc.   BUT, if he's going to act like that, while the game is going on, then he's lost all credibility to do so.  He's not an adult.

If Lurie and/or Howie cared I'm sure they'd tell him to not do it.  I doubt the players care because they know how nasty and terrible fans can be.

I'm not absolving him from being fired.  If the team isn't playing well and not winning games he should be let go.  But jawing with some fans doesn't really bother me.

That’s what I was thinking… Unless he got hit by a player running out of bounds or something.

Sirianni's outburst after the game increases the chances he gets fired way more than the horrible coaching. Lurie is a lot of things, but he isn't fond of that kind of trash

Sirianni is a jackass

If the Playoffs started today, the playoffs include:  the Vikings, Bucs, and Commanders.  Who had that on their bingo card?

This is the type of game where fans should get a partial refund.

Anyone who is actually upset about Nick doing that is more sensitive than he is.

Harbaugh situation is an "illness”.   But there is a interim head coach, so it’s probably more serious than just an illness.

They did tell him not to. Lurie himself said it and Nick confirmed it.

I don’t think it is about being upset. It’s not a good look for an adult pro football coach! He is supposed to lead by character and being the adult in the room. He doesn’t… he is like a man child.

It bothers me, especially when the team isn't playing well.  They did NOT play well today, which is why the fans were mouthing off at him.

As for the second piece... just wait a few more weeks.  This team will be lucky to win 2 games in the next 5 if they play anything like they did today.  That puts them at 5-5 on the season... And after that, the last 7 games, only the Panthers and Giants would be a game that they'd likely be favored in... because they are home games, as much as they would be the 'better' team.

It's not about "upset," it's another example of Siri being a clown, which shows in the coaching of the entire team. His leadership oversaw the epic collapse last season, and this season is a continuation despite changing coordinators and roster shakeups. They came out after the bye unprepared, unfocused and slow start, again. They should have blown out this awful Browns team and he's celebrating and taunting like he won the SB. He's a clown.

.   I'm not personally offended, I am embarrassed that that guy is the face of the franchise.  He's a clown, and he acts like one constantly.   The old saying goes, "its better to say nothing and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

You on a first name basis with him? You guys dating?

Sirianni PC coming up soon.  Looking forward to his word salad response to being asked about taunting the fans after.
