Cowboys next 5 are Niners, Falcons, Eagles, Texans, Commanders…0-5 is a likely possibility.

They seem to play better on the road this year (3-0).  I can't believe they won 17 straight home games and have been blown out in their last 4 including the playoffs by like 20 points in each game.  These scores are crazy.  I don't see them going 0-5, but wouldn't be shocked by 1-4 or 2-3.

Looks like one of those forgettable years where both Eagles and the Boys are bad and WAS wins the division with a middling record (although they’ll likely make some hay this year with that schedule).

Positive he didn’t have the killer turnover which is probably why we won today.

sadly our defense has created one turnover in 4 weeks

It’s insane to me how they can’t even accidentally find their way into a turnover. It’s almost like opposing offenses play the cleanest possible football against them. No strips, no tip drills, no errant passes on a miscommunication, and no one stepping in front of a receiver. No one outside of Blankenship has a nose for the ball.

😂 or 0-6, they face the Giants at home after that 5 game run.

There we go

I was going to look for a Spanish broadcast of the game but I was afraid I would get this Chris Collinsworth and it be would twice as painful.

Are we all in agreement that something has happened to @mattwill? Kind of concerning that he's just gone after being such a big part of the EMB.

I dont know how we can all agree on something we dont know. But it is sure concerning that hes gone this long.

Q had a legit INT or CJGJ does if they don't collide. Q also had had a few PDs this season where he probably should have tried to catch the ball instead of simply batting it down. Dean dropped a potential pick 6 in week 1 and Huff almost came up with an INT vs Atlanta on a deflection (the OL tackled him after the deflection to prevent the pick).

There have been opportunities including a couple fumbles recovered by the opposing offenses.

They really don’t have great playmakers besides Mitchell and Blankenship. Mitchell should have some down the road. He should’ve had one today if not for CJGJ. Frankly CJGJ had a bunch of picks for us his first stint cause we had a great pass rush and he benefitted from it. Our linebackers stink and aren’t going to create any. Slay is not a playmaker anymore. Pass rush got sacks but Watson held onto it better today.

If I was given a choice to push one person off a cliff and the choice was Collinsworth or Jim Gray …. that’d be a toughie

Anyone care to explain?

We eked out a win against one of the worst teams in the league, on their third straight road game, decimated by injuries, at home, off a bye.

The run game wasn’t poor; the Browns have talent on defense and stacked the run.  Make Hurts beat you through the air instead of Barkley on the ground.

Today is what we’re gonna get out of Hurts on balance.  He was smart enough to lean on his bread and butter — Bread Brown and Butter Smith, and he eliminated the bad turnovers — mostly good.

The biggest problem is, the Eagles slow starts is a Hurts problem and he’s letting bad teams hang around in games by starting so slow.  The Browns were in the game today for all 60 minutes because the Eagles offense was anemic for the first 20 minutes again.

Shorts made the reads relatively easy for Jalen by loading the box and playing press. As he’s having trouble dropping it into the bucket, we got to see misses and 50/50 balls on the verts; otherwise long developing but dead simple mesh crossers. The OL did pretty good against the blitz, and Jalen had his moments as well.

I fear next week, Jalen is back to looking at zone where he’s forced to process more, hold the ball and bad things happen.

Weird, I've been told we were firing on all cylinders and Hurts was back in MVP form.

Lane must not know what he's talking about.

Kind of like it Hurts...

GMen Defense is actually not bad this year.  They are holding teams to under 20 PPG.  They also lead the league in sacks.

Q also had a INT thrown right at him early, just didn’t see it. He’s in a good position a lot, so I expect he’ll have his opportunities (the QBs might start going elsewhere now with Slay out, Ringo in).

It is because Siri is plugging it up.

All pre season we heard about motion and hurts under center.

Other than the tush push I think hurts was under center once on the bootleg pass to callcaterra  and the motion was minimal at best

This is still Siri offense just Moore " running" it,  swapping out OCs but running the same stuff DCs have figured out wont un constipate anything ...

Their D line is stacked, their secondary isnt much to talk about but they dont have to be when the D line gets so much pressure

They always do a great job targeting top athletes. They love long, lean defenders. Just a matter of those guys being in a good system and playing up to their capabilities. I've always liked the kind of players they have on defense.

I'm definitely concerned.

Sure, we can laugh at the Cowboys and Giants, but those games won’t be a cakewalk. Not with how this team is playing right now.
