I think it's clear he doesn't like him. In interviews the last 2 years Hurts continues to say he is executing what is called, doing what he is asked to do. With the infamous "95% of the offense is new comment" he gave more context after a follow up question. He said plays in the NFL are generally the same when you look at them, but it's terminology that is different. he also said technique, like where your feet should be positioned, where you should look, how receivers run routes, stuff like that.

We of course guess and speculate but the people inside the building know the truth. Example Lane Johnson, He can't/won't come out and blame anyone specifically, but he's been under several regimes. I wonder who he thinks is responsible. Do the players think Nick is a problem? Moore? Hurts? All of them? What do Lurie and Howie think is going on? We'll probably find out if they have a losing season and what actions are taken.

If they aren’t very good you’ll get leaks coming out.  That always happens when things go south with the eagles. Especially when someone is shown the door. Thats been a consistent track record. So I’m expecting that if they don’t play well over this next stretch.

A lot of factors goes into points. But we are averaging more yards per drive this year than in 2022.

But if you want to only measure qbs by points scored, Watson had a decent game Sunday.

The number one job of an offense is to put points on the board.   The number one job of a defense is to stop the other team from putting points on the board.   We are talking about Football 101.    But, if you think that 9 points is good for an offense, then that says everything, doesn't it?

Carter picked up a shoulder injury during practice yesterday.

Also looks like Slay had a setback.

Doesn't matter. We might get Albert O back!!

Put Mitchell on him all day

Honesty who cares, this team can’t compete for a SB until Siri goes anyway.  That and no pass rush

The way the roster is constructed, the Eagles need to be a top 5 offense to win a Super Bowl, IMO.  I've said it before -- it's constructed (and paid) to be a top 5 offense and a mid-tier (15th, hopefully) defense.

Average QB play is not going to get it done.  Having said that, Hurts doesn't need to be Superman; he needs to distribute the ball to AJ Brown, Smith, Barkley, Goedert (when healthy) and the rest (Gilligan's Island) in a very efficient manner.  Be a point guard instead of a shooting guard, so to speak.

This post deserved a like from me solely on the Gilligan's Island reference. I enjoyed that.

Did they? Analysts are saying the offense looks the same. Joyner blames the coaching and said the offense looks the same. Kurt Warner said it's the QB because they've had the same offense for 3 years. So which is it? They are running the same offense - Siri's offense? Or they changed their offense?

Yes. They did.  You must have ignored all the articles I posted earlier on Sirianni.

There are also definitely new wrinkles. Joyner is an idiot and they may also be over generalizing speaking to the fact that it's no better than it was.  Which doesn't mean there haven't been changes.  But same results.

Defensively, the Giants have given Hurts some issues over the years. I think this will be a tough one

I can see Lawrence giving Jurgens some fits too.

I saw them, didn't open links though for any videos if there were any. I also asked earlier why the offense was different when Steichen took over and was more successful if it's Siri's offense.

Huff saying 100% of his sacks came from him using a 4-point stance. Maybe Fangio should pop in some Hugh Douglas and Trent Cole tape.

Vic needs to adapt so that signing can be less useless

I hope it’s moving goal posts like arcade basketball rims

I hope it is decreasing the number of points awarded for long FGs, and it might force teams to actually get the ball closer to the goalline!

They will never do that... so they need to narrow the uprights, and put nets on the sides of the uprights like the Arena league used to have... so that teams can return the missed FGs and finally create some excitement off a kick.

Narrowing them maybe…

Well this game should be craptastic. Half of the Saints team is hurt and the Broncos suck.

A voice of reason! BTW, I’ve watched a fair amount of all-22 and Dotson has been open a lot. He’s also run some really bad patterns, which I expect will get coached out of him. He’s a legit talent but Hurts doesn’t trust him…yet.

You and @Connecticut Eagle talking sense.  My conclusion on watching Dotson is his route running is still a work in progress.  But I can’t imagine being around AJ and Devonta can’t hurt. Notice how Devonta has picked up on AJ’s delay on putting his hands up to catch.  Hopefully Devonta’s cutting rubs off because Dotson rounds too much.

Or Slay is making a business decision.

The more you see people break down this team the more and more I start to fault coaching. Hurts has his share of the blame and faults, but it really is inexcusable to run an offense the way it is. They have to diversify.

And Huff talking about how him playing in a 4 point stance is helping his get off and why he looked better vs the Browns and it only took them 5 weeks to do it when outside analysts were suggesting it since week 2.

Can it be possible that Steichen was just better at dialing up the plays in Siri's offense
