Penguins got gifted a free goal by hart and still got blown out 

It feels so good to kick Pittsburgh's ass. We've done that a few times lately. We might be witnessing a changing of the guard.

Without that gaffe, which won't happen often, Hart had a .944 save %. Obviously he isn't going to play that well every night but I fully expect him to hover around the .920s. He was locked in after the 2nd (actual) goal

Had to work tonight so missed the game, but watched the goal highlights on NHL.com.  Was nice to see 6 different goal scorers and all the lines rolling.  I do like our depth and come playoffs it should give us an advantage.  That and having Hart when he's in the zone will make us a tough team to play in a series.  And it's always a genuine pleasure kicking PGH's ass and their whiny "I don't like them" captain, Cindy Coontzby. 

 

If hart can figure out how to handle the puck it'll be really hard to beat this team. If you remember the Montreal series, aside from Carey Price being great in goal he's an amazing puck handler. Single handedly killed a ton of the flyers' dump ins because he could play the puck so well. They would dump it in and he would just retrieve it and immediately dish it out and Canadiens were going the other way.

Hart learns to do that and man we will be in business. 

Great start to the season. Forward depth is incredible. Having a suitable 3C in Patrick makes all the difference compares to last year where they were trotting out Thompson and Grant.
 

Once Ghost comes back and puts Hagg on the bench, the defense will really shape up too.

Let's see if they can close this one out.  Great start to jump out to a 3 goal lead with 3 quick hitters, but then they let the dbag Pens back into the game.  A Cup contending team finds ways to see games out.  Being outshot 24-13 for the game and 10-4 in the 2nd so need to get off their heels in the 3rd.

First of his career.  After going through a goal drought to end last season he's off to a good start this season.  That's 4 goals the first 2 games because TK was driving to the net, though one was awarded to Lindblom.  Still, the effort produced a result even if he didn't get the official credit.

 

Such a satisfying feeling starting the season taking 2 games from the Richard Cranium Pens.

TK had a great start last season as well. Let’s just hope he continues it this time.
