Ever since Danny B did the dumbest contract signing of his tenure the Flyers lost Michkov, Brink and Drysdale all to injuries. Great, and Foerster is out for the year too.

I'm assuming that since there is such a dearth of centerman in their pipeline that they felt they needed to do this. They must also not feel comfortable with how Luchanko is developing. If they felt that he would be up soon, I'm thinking they wouldn't have re-signed Dvorak. That Luchanko pick may come back to haunt them. It's possible Dvorak could have continued to perform and at the trade deadline they could have gotten a nice package for him to collect more assets.

Yeah why can't Danny B just go to the Stud 1C tree and pick one off, there's a ton of of them out there.
