remember when the Flyers got more shots then the other team consistently and held teams to a league low in shots. Good times. I believe heading into the postseason they held teams to 26 per game. It feels like it’s been way higher in almost every game besides maybe one since the montreal series started.

Yeah, what the Hell happened to them?  All of a sudden they are incapable of handling aggressive forechecking?  As a team they just seem half a step slow.

Kind of feels like they blew their load in the round robin and now can’t recapture it. Doesn’t help that literally our top 5 goal scorers have combined for 1 goal. The defensive zone puck movement/turnovers has been an issue for 7 games. It’s more then a coincidence now. It’s a trend. 

Flyers got absolutely beat down in that period.

Fortunate it’s only 1-0. However the islanders playing with A lead is hard. Once they have it’s hard to crack. It’s how Washington found itself in trouble all series. 

Another missed opportunity on O.  Now it's Hayes turn to feed TK and his shot is blocked by Green's skate.  Lift that puck and the red light comes on.  

Last 7 games Flyers are skating like someone slipped them edible magick brownies.

It will never happen BUT... I would be 100% in support of the decision if Giroux was a scratch in the next game, if they keep playing like this and lose tonight. Need to send a damn message.

Hate to say it but giroux needs to be gone and unfortunately we are stuck with him. It sucks but he’s arguably the 4th best player on this team at his current state but being paid as the best. And he no shows for playoff series since 2012.

I think the Flyers were trying to recapture some of the magic they had before the stoppage with those games. 

bigger issue is more the Flyers have had issues with the islanders all year. It’s continued so far. Similar issues they’ve had with the islanders when we faced them months ago. Montreal had played the Flyers close and well all year too. Showed up in the playoffs as series was similar to the season series. 

As a fan i wanted the flyers to win this series. But after watching the islanders play and the Flyers vs. the habs i kind of thought the islanders would win this in 5. Tbh i think in the East they are playing the best hockey of any team.

He's gonna be our most expensive second line player for the rest of his contract if he doesn't show up and do something this series.

Maybe. But watching the islanders vs Washington i think they are playing the best hockey of any team in the East. They seemed to really build upon that leafs series. They completely dismantled the capitals in that series. I thought Washington was fortunate they let up in game 4 thinking it was over.

I wouldn’t say that. He just can’t be "the Main guy”  You saw when they went to the cup and he wasn’t the man he thrived. He can play Robin to a Batman. Problem is we don’t really have a Batman (Outside of hart but I’m talking about offensive Player Batman) so to speak.

OK, this is much better hockey from the Flyers.  They still have to convert on their chances, but otherwise they are showing signs of life.  Let's see if they can maintain this level of play.

If this play keeps up its only a matter of time. This isn't carey price in the other net 

Don’t wanna jinx it but Ghost is playing pretty well for the second straight game.
