March 9Mar 9 As of right now this can't be compared to IRAQ, but if grounds troops go in that changes things

If the war isn’t going on much longer, then that means the Islamic republic regime remains in place and no freedom for the Iranian people. A few days ago it was "do whatever it takes to take down the regime and free the people of Iran, even if it means boots on the ground”. And now it’s "eh we can just wrap up and call it a day. The Islamic regime is fine to remain in place”. So which is it? What is the goal of this war?

That’s actually exactly what I want. I don’t want another dime spent nor another American live lost in this war. I wasn’t the one praising Trump’s regime change war and saying we should do whatever it takes to topple the Iranian regime, even if it means boots on the ground. That was you.The only pivoting that will be taking place is from the Trumpers who were against regime change wars, and then for it, and who will be against it again if Trump changes course and pulls out now.Same thing happened with Venezuela. When the Trumpers thought the plan was getting rid of the Maduro regime and liberating the people of Venezuela, they were all gung ho for the regime change war no matter how messy it could get. And then when it turned out he wasn’t getting rid of the illegitimate Maduro regime and not liberating the people of Venezuela, the Trumpers did a 180 and praised how brilliant of a move it was to not get involved in a regime change war.

March 10Mar 10 First it was "just a few days". Then it became "a couple of weeks". Now, after ten days, Leavitt says "another four to six weeks". Drip drip drip...
