Agreed. Didn't necessarily disagree with the decision to not stop the fight. Toxeira kind of awkwardly wasn't able to finish the fight. He made it 5x worse for Smith by prolonging it. His corner probably should have stepped in, but that's also not an easy decision either. Sometimes fighting is fighting.

I think glover was trying to not too much more damage knowing where Smith was at in his head. As evidence by him apologizing for knocking out his teeth. But I agree instead of just throwing punches and watching smith cover up he methodically hit him and prolonged the fight.

Burns has won 4 times since Woodley fought and lost last.

That is a huge advantage for Burns

What a fight by the Carlyle and Billy Q. Ten more seconds he probably had him

Burns looked great last night. Woodley is totally shot.

Woodley's battle is mental. Can't get out of his own head. If he wants to keep fighting and make another run at getting his belt back, he needs to make some changes.

He is 38 so might be too late in an absolutely stacked division

O'Malley is ... not bad.

About time to let Nunes compete with the boys.

I hope people watched Poirier vs Hooker

😂

To sum up the interview: Nothing is his fault and he already knows everything.

Also, F the taxman. (I agree with this part).

I won 50 bucks on Poirier. Didnt really watch but in a brief glance I saw a bunch of haymakers going back and forth.

Fight of the year.

So, no one cares Fight Island is located in a place that runs on slave labor?

Nope. Kidding so you are telling me not to buy the fight in protest?

I'm surprised they allowed Masivdal to jump in the fight on such short notice

Usman
Volkanovski
Yan
Namajunas
Ribas

My "moral outrage” lessened today. That’s a great fight.

Masvidal on First Take just said that he still has to cut 20 pounds. I'm not sure how common that is for these guys on that short of notice, but that sounds insane.

It's routine. Not unusual at all. There are some pretty insane weight cuts in MMA.

Does Masvidal have a chance? He’s undeniably tough, but he’s outclassed and on short notice.

I don't think the short notice will be a problem. He's been training for this.

He has a shot, but is definitely the underdog.

Usman is the better fighter, but if anyone can pull this off it's Jorge. I expect Usman to win via unanimous decision though.

Yen Aldo fight ref should be fined or suspended. That was 90 seconds of pure unnecessary punishment. Pathetic

Holloway looks so sharp. I wouldn't be surprised though if Volkanovski came into this fight with a serious injury. Lower body likely.
