Khan: How can I make this job really unattractive…

Balke is just a bum as a GM. I'm amazed how he does it

Eagles now 5.5 favourites. Bettors realizing we're good!

Crazy how fast the season flew by this year.. hate that it’s going to end soon. Football in general. Big weekend for my buckeyes and birds. Here’s to winning the weekend!

For a 3rd string QB he looked damn good. I’m not saying he’s a franchise QB like people in here seem to be implying, but I think he’s probably better than most back ups in the league.

Would have liked to see him take a few more shots downfield. I think his longest completion was 19 yards.

Here are the longest Eagles plays from yesterday

The way McKee distributed the ball is very evident in that list.

The 20-yarder includes the assessed 15-yard personal foul.

Did the Eagles end up with the #1 Defense? Yard and points?

They were second in points behind the Chargers.  First in yards by a huge amount.

The difference in yards per game between the Eagles and the #2 team (32.8 yards per game) is the same as the difference between the #2 team and the #23 team.

The Chargers allowed 301 points and the Eagles allowed 303.

Yep, and by only 2 pts. Also league's #1 pass defense. Fangio damn sure silenced all his doubters, including me.

Yes, Fangio definitely helped but it also helped adding Baun, Dean, Coop, CJGJ and Mitchell to that awful back 7 from a year ago.

Snap counts from yesterday

Only 34 players even took a snap, that's very impressive to both win and be able to rest so many players. Lots of valuable playing time for some of the younger players and they looked pretty comfortable.

That's misleading.  There have been 3 matchups in Philly since 2009.

They beat the Eagles in 2015 in Philly - in Chip's final hurrah in Philly.
They beat the Eagles in 2021 in Nick's inaugural season as HC.

I don't think there's really any kind of 'trend' for facing the Eagles in Philly.  The difference maker seems to be that they haven't beaten the Eagles with AJ Brown... and one thing I think we can all agree to is that this is a different team with AJ Brown than without him.

I am very concerned with facing the Bucs.  We are 1-4 against Todd Bowles' defense.  They have been really good now that they are healthier.

EPA/play assessment over the second half of the season...

Was impressed with many of the young guys. Was also great/annoying to see that Dotson has plenty of talent. He doesn’t need to just be out there throwing a block here and there while otherwise running a 5k. Would love to see him get involved more with AJ/Smitty/Saquon taking the bulk of the attention. Seeing us attack the middle of the field also showed me that what I’ve been thinking for a long time very well may be true…we don’t attack the middle of the field often with Hurts because he has trouble seeing due to his height.

So are we definately playing in the 16:30 sunday game?

I didn't care if it was 1, 4 or 8, I just wanted it to be Sunday.  I didn't want Monday Night or Saturday.   So I'm good with 4:30 afternoon game. LOL @ Tom Brady 1st playoff game as an announcer is an Eagles game.

It's early but next weekend has a shot at some killer snow storms

I don't like Sunday night games anymore. Or Monday night games. A Saturday Night game might be fine with me

Dean was already there, so I give Fango credit for his progress anyway, and in a similar vein, he was the one who saw an ILB in Baun when Howie brought him in as an OLB/Edge. Coop and Mitchell definitely are studs though.

Drafting two studs certainly helped
