I think the Lions are easily the most dangerous simply because we’d have to play them in Detroit

If we get there, I hope Detroit blitzes us as much as they did the Vikings last night.

Some guys just don’t know how to pick the right guy to emulate

In the rulebook of how to make yourself look attractive to other team’s GMs/owners, I’m pretty sure rule #1 is ‘Don’t be like AB’

Their d-line is hurt so I’m sure they will

I came away very impressed with McKee, especially considering he hadn't started a game in more than two full years.  I think he has a future in the league for at least a few years.  My assumption is he'll still be #3 on the depth chart for the wildcard game, assuming Hurts and Pickett are healthy enough to go.

I believe his performance over the two weeks should cement him as the #2 QB for next season, though.  If they can trade Pickett for a box of rocks next spring they can save some cap space.

Mentioned on Sirius a little while ago, Christian Watson has a torn ACL. Status not in doubt for Sunday.

if it wasn't already known

If Q is the long term lock down corner, the opposite side is going to get more targets and I would rather they be physical like Ringo.

Use the ribs as an excuse and keep Mckee active

Hopefully the Eagles don't try to milk the competitive advantage BS with Hurts this week. It would be so annoying.

What if he comes out for pregame warmups in the back of an ambulance, and climbs out the back door in full equipment?  That wouldn't be inspirational?

Is everyone just content next year leaving DeJean as NCB? It was a pretty steep price to pay for a NCB but it's also likely his best spot on the field. I'm curious if they ever try him on the outside at all in the offseason. I'm still not convinced he can at the NFL level and be a high end player.

For 2025, Hill has a $15.85 million option bonus, a $10 million salary, a $1 million roster bonus, $1.8 million in per-game roster bonuses, and a $100,000 offseason workout bonus. All payments are fully guaranteed, for now. (The per-game roster bonus and offseason workout bonus must be earned, but are guaranteed.)

The current deal could be traded, with or without the guarantees being voided. Would someone commit $29.65 million in cash to him for 2025? As one source with extensive personnel evaluation experience put it on Monday, he’s still worth that kind of money but he’s definitely not as good as he used to be.

There’s also the headache factor. The Chiefs decided after the 2021 season that they had enough. Hill, after trying his best to not be a pain in the ass for the Dolphins, finally snapped on Sunday. Whoever trades for him becomes the next team he might turn against.

Now that he has turned against the Dolphins, what will they do? Turn the other cheek? Or turn up the heat and play some hardball? They have options. And it could get interesting

I really would like Ringo to get some more meaningful snaps.

He really does need them.

He’s still so young that he would be of normal age joining the 2025 draft class.

But the only way he is going to improve is to get enough snaps to get over the growing pains. I get that this year we are loaded for bear and have really talented, proven veterans ahead of him.

But next year he needs to be the primary 3rd boundary CB and used in significant sub packages at the very least. The crazy thing is that Ringo has the ability to play a sort of safety/corner hybrid role. He’s big, hits hard, tackles well, yet has the long speed and length to match up on the outside.

He played nearly 70% of the snaps this year and that's without playing in 4 games. NCB is basically a starting position and clearly he can make a huge impact there. Trading two 2nd round picks for him (one which turned in to Mike Sainristil, who is already a very good CB2 for the Skins) for him to just be a slot CB does seem steep.

How much more uninspiring can they get?

I think they need to find a way to play 95% of the defensive snaps.  Nickel cb is as valuable as anywhere else.  It’s just less valuable when it’s also CB3 who also sits out 25% or so of the defensive snaps.

I don’t know if that means playing some safety or playing out wide.

Just make sure he’s on the field.

Yep. Especially in Fangio's system with a lightbox and five DBs. And not a steep price when you look at his impact on the defense as a whole.

We know what Driscoll is and he should be replaced this offseason. I just like Keegan's game. I think the combination of Keegan and Steen under the coaching of Stoutland might make it easier to let Becton walk and keep some of the pieces together on defense.

Ringo balled. I wanted Rodgers back but I can see a CB trio of Mitchell and Ringo with DeJean in the slot. Keep Ricks as your outside depth and find slot depth.

Becton should be our top priority to keep along with Baun. Let Sweat and Williams walk if you must. But you don’t allow Becton to leave if you can help it — he’s a unicorn with his size and movement ability.

Are hostile takeovers allowed in the NFL? These organizations all stink
