In all seriousness -- this is more dysfunction and shows the Jets haven't learned a damn thing from the fiasco of the past two seasons.  The head coach needs to report directly to a General Manager, and the General Manager reports directly to the executives.  

You need to complete the General Manager interview process all the way to hire, then entrust your General Manager to recruit, interview, and hire a head coach who aligns with his vision.  The relationship between the two is vital to building the proper culture in an organization; Woody Johnson wanting a head coach to report directly to him as owner means  a) dysfunction from the get-go,  b) you're not going to get a qualified GM or head coach to accept these jobs under the current reporting structure.

The base set for most offenses now is 11 personnel, so the nickel spot has become just as important as outside corner. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

1) A slow start by the offense.  It has been chronic most of the season, although it appears to be waning recently.  But Hurts will have been sidelined for three weeks and the rest of the starters are coming off a week of rest.  They need to jump on the Packers, get the lead, and make Jones insignificant.

Slow start is highly likely to happen but Packers don't really have much to stop us from catching up IMO

Team has definitely played in some really cold games.  As far as rain they played enough games in rain in 2023 for a few seasons.

I don't understand why Lurie likes the unoriginal black jerseys so much better than the Kelly Green.  Of the teams that wear an occasional black jersey, ours ranks on the low end.

I'm sick of the Eagles slow starts. It shouldn't take a team with this much talent a whole quarter to figure it out. I would LOVE for this to happen. Get the Linc rockin and don't look back.
