All the line movement has my spidey-sense tingling about Jordan Love. It's a bit odd.

Just to put this to bed -- the only reason to get concerned about Hurts is if he doesn't practice on Wednesday. Just to cut off the drama now -- he will likely be listed as "limited" if he does practice due to still being in protocol, because practicing and recovering the next day are a step in the protocol.

I think DeJean would be a really good outside CB.

So what’s more valuable - a really good CB or an elite NB?

I think he offers a competitive advantage at NB. The size, physicality, AND coverage combo is pretty rare. Huge asset against the run in nickel.

Kinda view NB like I view RB. Not hard to find a decent one, quite hard to find a great one.

If the Eagles didn't have Ringo and potentially Rodgers, if extended on the outside, I'd say put DeJean outside and see what he can do. He just seems like a perfect fit for the slot CB position though. I'm keeping him there and letting him thrive. If you build solid depth behind him and he has to slide outside at some point, go for it. But for now, he can earn his living where he is, and the Eagles are better with him there.

Line moving = people betting on the Eagles

He won't get the job, but first one.

Yes, but there's often a reason why people do that. 2 pts is a big jump.

He shouldn't want that job. Terrible roster and in cap hell.

He did the limited portion at Saturdays walkthrough. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a FP all week.

I think opening at only -3.5 was the odd part. I was expecting it to be around -5. I think this is just the bettors correcting that.

I wasn't clear if (i) he just watched or participated and (ii) if it counts since it was Saturday with no practice report. Still -- no reason to worry unless he doesn't practice at all on Wednesday.

I know Jeff Kerr said "participated" but looks like he deleted the tweet since I can't find it anymore.

Berman said the Stage 3 to Stage 4 doesn't necessarily have to be a practice. It's just limited exercise so he could do it via different ways.

In any case, yea, not a big deal right now.

Looks like a cover up.

Are we sure he isn't in a dark room getting brain-healing, laser treatments?

Yup. Im guessing bettors really hit that line hard when it was 3.5.

Was he even close to Mamula's? I saw one really solid QB hurry and the game was over at that point.

I don't know what actually gets recorded as a pressure or hurry but I noticed a bunch of rushes where I thought maybe he was finally going to get to the QB and he just didn't. I'd say 3-5 mamulas in that game where I thought he might actually get the QB

Incredible work by CHI here….even if they aren’t truly interested in McCarthy, it will force DAL to show their hand.

I think it’s time to be concerned. I get the competitive edge angle but at this point I think everyone just needs to know. That he hasn’t yet cleared concussion protocol suggests he’s not able to. At this point even if he does clear protocol I think he’s going to have a disrupted week of practice.

If he did a walk through on Saturday then that indicates that he is ready for a full practice as the next/last step.  So the first day the team actually practices,  he will likely be there practicing.  It wouldn't be a disrupted week at all.

I'm sure they just waited on progressing him so that they could leave it up on the air this long for the packers.

I heard they removed his brain, did a quick polish and are in the process of reinserting

Hypothetically we win Super Bowl.  Moore takes a head coaching job.  Who you looking at for OC?

I don't think losing Moore would matter all that much. He's not really running his offense anyway. Eagles went from 31st in the NFL in motion in 2023 to a whopping 24th in 2024.

The first sentence isn't relevant; the vast majority of head coaching decisions will be made by the end of January, prior to the Super Bowl.

Probably would be a good idea to get someone that's an OC lifer so we don't have to keep this cycle every year. Would be better if Nick didn't suck
