It’s not hate from me even though it might seem that way. My argument is that he’s totally average, maybe a little below average.  Yet there are still people out there propping him up like some kind of insane leader, winning QB, whose physical skills at the position don’t really matter.  He threw for 2900 yards this year with one of the most incredible offensive rosters ever assembled. OL, RB, WR, tight end. I don’t care what Saquon did.  These receivers are consistently running wide open and he consistently either misses them or chooses to bail and run.

There aren’t nearly as many hurts haters as there are apologists. All you have to do is listen to sports radio or read Reddit or social media to see people bending into pretzels not just to defend him but argue that he’s a sure fire top 5 QB. I heard a guy on the radio yesterday who called all confident like he was about to make some brilliant point and was like "let’s let the facts speak for themselves Hurts averages so and so passes per game and Burrow averages so and so passes per game, and their yardage is X and Y, so if you do the math, if Hurts threw as many times per game as Burrow he would’ve led the NFL in passing yards”
