By cheating and the bolting to avoid the consequences

The stuff came out before the PSU and then they went out and didn't bother to pass the 2nd half not once vs Frames. Won a title dominating Penix and 3 NFL WRs

What other consequences? Please tell me, go on I'll wait

The last (and only) QB to do that in Year 2 was Dan Marino, I believe.

Mahomes had 5,000 and 50(!) year 2.

You forgot to add the Refs are blind and very few head coaches can call plays.

There are some things plaguing the quality of the product overall. But I really mean the quality of the teams. Recent playoffs feel cheap. Every year it feels like the eagles can potentially capitalize on a weak NFL. Like, there are only a few tough teams each year. Often none truly elite and completely well rounded. Always some kind of weakness to exploit. An injury here and there to those contenders, maybe a lucky path through playoffs so you can avoid 1 or 2 teams in the bracket, and you can sneak your way to a super bowl.

Its still tough and unlikely. But it often feels like a possibility.

This years playoffs are full of teams that dont scare us.

If you ain’t cheatin you ain’t tryin!

So we elevated P.Campbell for the game tomorrow. Hopefully it’s only precautionary and not then actually worried about Brown / Smith being able to make it through the game.

Ok.  So, Herbert was third.   Still not bad, and pretty good company to keep.   (Marino had 48 TDs... in 1984... 😱 )

I went to the bathroom and PIT scored points??

Yeah, Marino’s season is the most impressive passing year in the history of football when you consider where the sport was as far as the passing game is concerned.

Frankly the Steelers schedule broke them. They had at eagles, at Baltimore, vs. KC and vs. bengals and at baltimore. They were never as good as their 10-3 record.

For sure.  They are a total fraud just like we were last year.

Well, that's game.   Killed any momentum the Steelers might have thought they'd gotten.

Turns out when you lose 4 straight going into the playoffs you may not be that good

I feel bad for TJ Watt - so good and being wasted there.  I’d give my left nut to get him

Yea, that was an interesting one. Maybe with the success the saw from Dotson last week they plan on going 4 wide and bombs away!

I think it’s part precautionary, part not having to rely on Ainias Smith or Johnny Wilson if AJ or DeVonta do have to take time off.

Did Michigan cheat last year? Well yes they did. They are the equivalent of the Houston Astros. Who says they even make the playoff without cheating like they did...all year.

They are in a purgatory. Cause they’re not bad enough to pick high enough to get a QB that might make the difference. So basically it’s trades on QBs not good enough anymore or weren’t to begin with or selecting QBs mid first round later that don’t hit. And they’re not good enough to actually win a Super Bowl. They are in the ultimate stuck in purgatory.

It’s why I said earlier, they really should consider trying to trade Mike Tomlin when his value is high still to another organization like the Bears. Since they are pretty good at hiring coaches, I’m guessing they probably hire a good replacement and get something for Tomlin on top of it that might help them maneuver for a Qb

I think the Ravens beat the Bills next week. Even in Buffalo. They’re definitely the better team.

Feel the same way. They played earlier this year and Henry just took it too them. And the ravens weren’t playing great up until that game. Imo ravens are a bad matchup for Buffalo. Plus the ravens defense is much better now then it was that first matchup. Not sure i can say buffalo’s defense is as last two playoff teams they faced put up 44 and 42 (in December)

Technically Pittsburgh already got their QB in Justin Fields.  You don't trade for him unless you're willing to do something like signing Russell Wilson so you can let him sit and develop like he should have all along.

Otherwise they'd have to start thinking about dealing guys like Fitzpatrick, even Watt, and start collecting more draft ammo in case they find someone they really like in the draft.  But they gotta go through the process with Fields before they get there.

The way to hit the salary cap jackpot is to find your franchise QB in the draft outside of the first round, though.  I haven’t studied prospects yet to see if there is one in this year’s class — Ward and Sanders will both be over drafted.

Jackson has been a much better pro than I thought he’d be.  Kudos to the Ravens organization for drafting him at #32 and building an offensive scheme around him.  He still needs a win over Allen and/or Mahomes in the playoffs to make the top tier, though.

I believe Harris is concussed. I think he took a knee to the head on the previous play, then the big hit and fumble, and slow getting up.

Wilson a playoff performer!

And that pick they used for Jackson i believe was from the Eagles
