The way to hit the salary cap jackpot is to find your franchise QB in the draft outside of the first round, though.  I haven’t studied prospects yet to see if there is one in this year’s class — Ward and Sanders will both be over drafted.

Jackson has been a much better pro than I thought he’d be.  Kudos to the Ravens organization for drafting him at #32 and building an offensive scheme around him.  He still needs a win over Allen and/or Mahomes in the playoffs to make the top tier, though.

And that pick they used for Jackson i believe was from the Eagles

I think they can beat the bills next week. Frankly i still take the chiefs in the afc. They are finally fully healthy on offense outside of rice. Brown is back. Pacheco is back. This is about as healthy and good as they’ve been all year on offense. I’d be surprised if their offense isn’t better than what we saw for stretches in the regular season.

Derrick Henry is killing Pittsburgh, but keep passing. Remind you of anyone.

Yup.  I thought the Eagles might draft Sony Michel at #32, but the Patriots took him at #31.

Hockey is terribly boring

There's absolutely nothing better than a dialed in, frenzied Flyers crowd.

Yeah, Marino’s season is the most impressive passing year in the history of football when you consider where the sport was as far as the passing game is concerned.

1984? They had Duper and Clayton primarily in that time frame right? Dan Fouts was a pioneer with Don Coryell (sp?). Warren Moon could sling it too, but yeh, Dan Marino was crazy good, too bad he never won a title, his one and only chance in the SB and it was against another goat PA qb.

Have you ever watched live? If you have, and still think it’s boring, then you just find every sport boring.

Hea about to get his 3rd MVP but he isn't top tier because he hasn't beat Mahomes or Allen in the playoffs? Let me guess, you have Allem as top Tier even though he's never beaten Mahomes in the playoffs either.

I've been to more hockey games over my lifetime than I could recall.

The game used to be so much better when the players used to police themselves, before the bloated goalie equipment, left wing lock, two-referees and visors for everyone.  Now every team plays the same boring style and the team that wins it all is usually the one with the hot goaltender

It's boring and even more so in person. No different than lacrosse. It's white dudes who picked sports that other races don't give a a crap about and we are supposed to be impressed, nah.

Sucks to say, but what sport is better now than it was 20-30 years ago? None of them. Every sport used to be better.

I think even if you were to just look at how penalties were (not) called against CBs it’s incredibly impressive.

What are you doing Ravens

Really don’t think Pickens did much on that. More ravens defender just did a poor job in coverage.

This year’s QB class sucks.

Ward might be something, but may other year he goes in the 10-15 type range. Sanders doesn’t impress me much. Again, in another year he’s picked 10-20.

People hate Milroe because he is not a good passer. HOWEVER, he *might* develop into something interesting with the right coaching and organization.

He could be there in the second round for some team, but he’s definitely a risky pick.

Personally, I’m waiting for the Colts to give up on Richardson after next year. He’ll still be young and he’s still the most gifted physical specimen to ever play the position. Put him behind Hurts for 2 years and I think you’d have something.
