Haha you are too kind...got back last night unfortunately.  Wouldn't miss an Eagles playoff game.  Nothing is better than surfing the EMB from a beach with a drink in hand.  OK, well there are still better things, but I enjoy that.

If we end up losing Becton, I'm looking at Jonah Savaiinaea as a potential pick at the back end of the first. Not that I want to lose Becton, I'd prefer to extend him and use our 1st on d-line. But with cap restraints plus other players needing extensions, I'm unsure on what we do.

Enter Jonah. I could see a very similar path to what Cam Jurgens took. Insert him at RG immediately and take over RT once Johnson decides to hang them up. Plus he already has experience at both RG and RT. Seems like he could be a very good fit. Has the IQ, size, strength, athleticism that Stout likes. He needs some coaching on technique to get the best out of him, but who better to do that than Stout. 

NFL Network just went over a new rule for these playoffs I was unaware of for OT.  Even if the first team scores a TD then the other team will still get the ball.

I believe they started that last year. At the very least, that’s how it was for the Super Bowl.

In the Super Bowl the 48ers scored a field goal and the Chiefs got the ball back to score a TD. Thata been the standard OT rules for a bit now.  But now if the team that gets the ball first scores a TD then thr other ta still gets the ball back.

Brown and Smith have injury issues, but will still be the focus of the passing game.  Dotson may get a few more looks, as will the TEs.  Campbell will be further down as a target.  He may be used more at kick returns.

The FB is also elevated.  Maybe an indication that the run game, Barkley specifically, will be the focus for this game.

Today begins Barkley's quest to break John Riggins' single post season rushing record of 610 yards. Considering we have the wild card game and he may have 4 games to do it, He will need to average 152.5 yards per game to tie. Thats higher than his regular season average, but if we dont end up resting him in blowouts, conceivably we may see him boost that average.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if we come out with some quick slants to open the game.  Maybe a couple RPOs as well.  Get Hurts involved right away.

Ealges message board Hurts "discussion" is as entertaining as the Flyers BroadStreetHockey message board "tank vs. wildcard playoff spot".  I'm a full tank guy.

I know it won't happen, but I'd love an under center play- action pass downfield for our first offensve play just to spice things up.  I'm sure you are right though,  it will be a slant or a run between the guards.
