The Packers and Vikings have identical schedules outside of 2 games.

So do the lions and its 3 games. One from AFC (to account for 17th game) and 2 from NFC.

Is Dotson ever in on the tush pushes? That would have showed their hand changing up the personnel I would think.

Good point

The high and low is interesting

The Rams and Vikings are not as good as the Eagles. We should win either game.

I think Vikings have better weapons. Jefferson and Addison are a great duo and they have Hockinson and Jones.

Vikes slightly better weapons. But not at QB. Rams beat Vikings head to head this season. Also, Rams beat a Superbowl contender in the Bills. Rams have the battle tested Playoff Superbowl QB. Much scarier for me. Unproven  Darnold on the road VS. Eagles is the safer bet for me.

Ah true, it's now a 3 game delta with the introduction of the 17 game schedule. You're right.

High. Rams or Vikings don't matter. The Vikings haven't beat anyone this year, easy schedule. We already beat the Rams this year 37-20 in a dominant win. They did beat the Bills in a close game and the Vikings earlier this year. But they also lost to the Bears, Cardinals and Dolphins. They're a 10 win team. And they're dealing with the wildfire situation and playing Monday night with one less day of preparation. They'll have to fly across the country for a road game, and might be worn out after an emotional game tonight.

The Eagles have the top defense, top RB, top O line, top WRs. The issue is how Hurts shows up. If he plays like some of his better games this year they can beat anyone.

On the flip side Hurts will have to throw the ball against a good run defense. Plays into their strength as well. I'll take the homeless team that has to fly across the country that SB can run wild on.

Rams are always homeless. LOL Vikings are traveling a bunch as well. Packers stacked the box yesterday and we still did enough. Not too worried about run defenses with the Eagles. Hurts was rusty and will be fine.

Eagles already crushed the Rams though. I think defenses travel in the playoffs and the Vikings have a far superior defense. I don't think the Eagles would have any problems scoring vs the Rams.

 At first I thought they listed Nolan Smith's full name or some ish. I was like "Wait, this dude's real name is Ed Nolan Smith Jr and I'm just now finding out?"

Pretty sure I remember the white hat being right there for the first flag when the dude punched CJ in the face and he threw the flag on CJ for saying something

Yea, nvm. He definitely threw the first flag. For some reason I thought the second flag was an old white guy but I can't find clips of it. I thought maybe it was the side judge because it was weird timing of the defense coming onto the field and not during an actual play.

Good.  The defense is carrying the load until the offense figures it out.  A surprise but Fangio has been a godsend.  He should be locked in.  Just don't play prevent if we don't have to.

No Zack Baun, Jalen Carter, Saquon Barkley, or Lane Johnson on this list makes me question it's legitimacy.

Good to see you old friend.  There was a @wyote sighting last week as well.

The Defense gives me no option other than High.  Even the loss of Dean shouldn’t cause any deviation from that.  I tend to agree with Dan Orlovsky’s assessment, as well as @just relax’s … and expect a bounce back game from the Offense.

I’m also picking the Commanders over the Lions.

Rams and Minnesota are both timing-based offenses.

Sam Darnold has small hands too...

yes very low..its crazy how one player (hurts) can hold a team from reaching their full potential. 10 points on 3 turnovers is madness.

Mine is sky high.  Rams defense stinks and we handled their offense in good weather.  Darnold is trash and a dome donkey.  And their D is bend but dont break. Give me either.

I want the Rams. We didn't just beat them, we beat the brakes off of them.

Weird comment. I'm catching up on the blog from last night and in my notifications you just responded to me and I replied. I didn't have time to scroll all your other content to be up to date on all your posts, sorry!

And I already said, yes the tablet is used by other QBs at times, but not every time they are on the sidelines. Sure, you can Google to find some instances of other QBs using tablets, just like I posted an image of Hurts using a tablet.

Here's the thing about it that you and @Wentz_Era and whoever else is obsessed with the tablet need to think about.

  • Other NFL QBs are shown on the sidelines not looking at tablets many times.
  • Other NFL QBs are shown sitting alone, staring, not talking to teammates.
  • Every player has their own way they process things. After a bad series, they may want to shake off the emotion and get their head right, and then look at the tablet or talk to teammates and coaches.
  • Where are the coaches during these shots? You don't see the OC or QB coach talking to him. The coaches can also engage their QB to talk and go over the tablet. They aren't doing it, and aren't bothered by how Hurts conducts himself on the sidelines or else they would do something about it.
  • The broadcast typically only cuts to the QB after he did something bad like a turnover.
  • Otherwise they're showing the coach, the defense, the fans, the players on the field who just made the play. There's a lot of different shots for the crew to put on screen.

Think about your job. You make a mistake and something bad happens. Do you immediately open a training manual and start reading? Or do you get pissed, curse and yell, or go somewhere to cool off and then regroup? Everyone reacts different. They're humans not robots.

Dude, I’ve mentioned it once since mid season…and that was today.   I don’t need to think about anything….it’s painfully apparent that Hurts struggles mightily in a few aspects of the game.  Someone mentioning that he barely a resource aimed to help him in what he’s probably the worst at (post snap reads) isn’t so off the wall.  Also…yes, PROFESSIONALS, when they make mistakes pretty much go right to the drawing board instead of sitting and pouting.  Actually in situations like that AAR’s are exactly what you should be doing because it’s fresh on your mind.  It’s basic human psychology and the way the brain works.

I am fairly confident that there will be a next week.  Like 99% certain.
