Sorry you're right it is too soon 😂 I still have never watched the end of that game after the bs call and never will watch that game again

I was there. I have never watched a second of it on TV. If I stumble onto it on NFL Network I change the channel almost as quickly as I do when that APSCA commercial comes on when my dog is in the room.

Steichen may have been the difference. These last 2 OC's are nothing to write home about. Also, injured last year. More healthy this year. We are getting closer to the 2022 version IMO. Just needs to perform well in playoffs and everything else will be forgotten. Last week was an incomplete for many reasons. This week will tell us more...

I agree with this. He’s only as good as his last game right now.. but he’s being paid to be elite and he’s been robbing the franchise since he got paid

Brad Johnson was also a game manager. Our running game and defense is comparable to that Bucs team (D is not as good but running game is better.) Tom Brady's first SB win was the textbook definition of game managing. Peyton Manning might as well have been a mannequin in his SB win with the Broncos. The list is much longer than just Trent Dilfer.

EDIT: looking up more, you can add Roethlisberger and Eli Manning to the list

Also Bob Griese, Phil Simms, Jeff Hostetler, Bart Starr, Len Dawson, Jim McMahon, and Joe Flacco.

He's a good player

Time for the Nolan Smith headram to get him out of there.

Why would we trade a guy we just resigned and take a $31.5mm cap charge?

The same reason why some people think Dallas is hiring Deion, drafting Shedeur, and trading Dak to take a $100 million cap hit: they don’t know the salary cap situation.

Zach Cunningham was better than Morrow last year....

Keep it up. it's working. Instead of a book, Hurts is reading the blog in between drives for motivation and self-help guidance.

Good.

And I’ll wear his jersey again this week for the game like I have for most games the past several seasons.  Win - Win. 🏆

Think there's a better chance Jerry brings in Moore than Deion. Don't think he's paying anyone's buyout unless his old age has brought about an existential crisis. Then maybe Deion/Belichick would be on the table.

Brutal.. I couldn't even stand watching on TV. Couldn't imagine actually being there

I didn't even realize he was on the Broncos this year. They ended up promoting him to the active roster the end of November so he's done for the year now with the Broncos out.

Just about all of these QBs are overpaid. One could say, Hurts was robbed in 2022 when he made only $1.5M per year and the years before that. Again, he was playing hurt last year. Had a concussion recently and now we wait for the Real Jalen Hurts. No excuses....

Can teams still sign players from practice squads? There's gotta be someone out there better than Morrow, and FFS Ricks and A Smith aren't worth keeping that much

It was a disaster after the game -- we sat in our car for 30 minutes and didn't move. Finally, we got out and walked to a Dave & Buster's to kill time until the driver finally got out of the lot like an hour later.

Trotter with a big sack, fumble, int, whatever...the crowd is gonna go ballistic, and rightfully so. What a great story.

Anyone that was on a PS whose season ended are essentially free agents.

You can still sign players off current playoff teams practice squad like the Eagles did to get Cine but you have to put them on the active roster like normal rules.

I think our best shot to beat Detroit is good LB play, that could come from Trotter but won't come from Burks so might as well play Trott now and give him real experience against a motion-heavy team.

The Morrow hate here is way overdone. Guy was on minimum wage last year and through first 9 games played well. Whole defense and team collapsed in 2nd half of last year. I like the signing for depth. Had some good games last year with key sacks and can spot start.

Unpopular opinion, but I don't mind the Morrow move. The entire defense wet the bed last season, but he has some idea of the system, the defense around him is night and day better and he's fresh.

Having him be #4 on the depth chart isn't a big deal IMO
