Take cheap shots early on Stafford, break him

Stafford has always seemed like the type of QB that will play better the more banged up he gets.

Or we could just play the game the right way, with morals and dignity, instead of being dirty or trying to cheat.

I’m talking specifically about the Fing Buffalo Bills. Show me how the running game has become more important to them when they already established prior to Josh Allen getting there being the top rushing team and a top 5 rushing team. My point for the Buffalo Bills itwas just as important to them in 2016 as it is in 2024. it didn’t change for them. They’ve always wanted that.  So it didn’t get more important to over the last 6 years. Because it was just as important to them 9 years ago. 2015 no. 1 rushing team. 2016 no. 1 rushing team. 2017 no. 5 rushing team. It’s not more important now cause Josh Allen’s there. It was always super important to them before he even got to Buffalo. It’s an entire decade of it being established and important they continued it when they drafted Allen and throughout his 6 years there

they’ve put a high value on the importances of the running game for a decade now.

This isn't about the Bills but rather the NFL.  When the better teams start to do something the league notices and copies their behavior.

I think we've covered all we can cover here.  Go ahead and have the final say and then we can sit back and see how things develop over the next few years.

I think he just meant cheap liquor shots.

They don’t have to be mutual exclusive. I’d say becton might not be back and @vikas83 has talked about Goedert’s contract is a sticky situation this offseason (I’ll let him discuss it cause he knows more about cap stuff and everything that goes along with it).

I dont see them moving on from Qb this offseason. Financially too difficult until 2026 and currently don’t know how this season finishes out. So it would have to be OC. If they wanted to make a move there it would benefit them for Moore to be hired as a HC. Don’t think it’s impossible they fire him. but I’d be surprised if he’s not back if he doesn’t get a HC job.

You didn't say it directly, but your post implies it.  How?  Because you didn't include fixing the passing game as an additional piece, but presented it in opposition to adding the RB2.   The way I see it, personnel wise, the running game needs attention, scheme wise, the passing game needs attention.  Both can be accomplished this offseason.

Incidentally, moving on from Goedert likely hurts the running game more than the passing game.  Meanwhile, I fully expect Becton to return... who will help both, though he's truly a monster in the running game.  A certain Rams LB is having nightmares having to face him again on Sunday.

They why was their offense struggling the last few weeks of the year? He got a week off before the playoffs and played well on Monday.

But sure he plays better when he is hurt.

And Stafford was buying... and they were going to drink so many as to empty his bank account!

Some of his most memorable career moments were in games when he's been absolutely destroyed with hits and injuries in a game yet continued to play and pulled off some great late game comebacks.

Looking forward and presuming we win the next two games, who would we want in February? I'm thinking the Texans... anyone got a problem with that?

Bring on the Chiefs. Similar to 7 years ago, I want revenge.

It’s probably a popular opinion that it doesn’t matter if Kellen leaves but, man, it sure would be nice to have the same OC two years in a row.

This is BS. Interviews shouldn't be allowed until that coaches current team is finished for the season.

So he has two interviews tomorrow (Jags and Cowboys) on a practice day.

Yeah, he needs to be focused on the Rams. The interview better be in Philly.

He called the game vs. Green Bay like he didn't prepare either

I never said they couldn’t fix both. My initial point was is if you are gonna run the same type of offense in 2025 and the passing game is marginally better or at the same level (basically not fixed) then you are going to need this type of sustainability with the Barkley/running game to have the success they are having.

My biggest concern is and has been: can they fix the passing game to get it back to 2022? last year they fired an OC and hired a new one in Moore. That was supposed to help. hurts would work on it during the offseason. we currently are in a spot with the passing game that’s not much better (analytically worse). they can accomplish it, i don’t think it’s impossible task. That said they’ve been trying all offseason and into the season. Yet it sits where it currently does. Can’t say i have full confidence in them right now that they can identify it and fix it to get it back to that 2022 point.

He's gonna be focused. It will be done after practice when he's at home. The only reason people are concerned about this is the false narrative that the Eagles defense stunk in the Super Bowl in 2022(A GAME THEY STILL TECHNICALLY WON!) and people blamed that on Gannon interviewing for other jobs when the defense showed signs of flaws all season and Gannon was never some defensive mastermind to begin with. It was just easier to blame it on that than accepting he's just not that great of a coordinator.

No worries.  He's saving the fancy stuff for when it matters... playing possum and all that.

Everyone should be rooting for Washington Saturday so we get another home playoff game, and then in the SB I want to beat Lamar right after he’s named league MVP. This way we pull off a historic feat:

First team in NFL history to beat 4 teams in the playoffs they had already beaten in the regular season

Is that your special sauce for this season?    I'll just take another Lombardi at this point.  I'll take it anyway it comes.

What if it comes with pestilence and famine?
