I'm just hoping to host the NFC CG.  Home is better than away... always.

Agreed. I know I have an unpopular opinion that’s a way bigger hurdle for the team. I just really want to see them face the Lions. I think that game has the potential to be like the Chiefs/Bills divisional round game a few years ago. Way more juice from an entertainment perspective.

No, that part I wouldn’t prefer. But it is what it is.

I totally get why people want Commanders to win. I just think it’s interesting how for weeks the narrative was about the impending Lions collapse, how they weren’t even that good etc but now let’s root for a division rival to get the to NFCCG so they can dodge the Lions.

If we didn’t already have a Lombardi in the bag I would take it the easiest way possible. But since we do, to be the man you gotta beat the man.

One thing that I hate about going to the game tomorrow is that I'm am pretty certain the my binoculars are going to fog up to the point that they will become useless. This has happened in wet weather multiple times. That Jags game two years ago comes to mind. I'm someone who uses the "binos" about 99% of the time, so it will be really awkward for me to watch plays on the far side of the field.

And yes, taking the subway is the way to go. It's what I do normally after taking a train from Jersey. I would heartily recommend doing so for people who are going to the game and have that option. It's very easy, and you won't have to face probable nightmares driving out of the lots after the game.

I’ve probably asked you this before, but what binoculars do you use. There’s a balance between magnification and field of view - that I quite haven’t worked out.  I have a 4x30, but the magnification isn’t quite worth the squeeze.

Dude, nobody on this forum hates Hurts more than me. I don't even think the only way to win is with him getting hurt. Could they win with McKee? Yeah, the offense may even look better, but I haven't seen anyone say that the only way we win is if he goes down. I'm rooting for him and I think he'll have a bounce back game. Stop telling the guy he's trolling for saying nah to your post.

Who called him a scumbag, trash, or worthless, and wished for him to get hurt so we could win?  I'm probably not on here as much as you, but I am curious if someone said that.

I'm super finicky about my binoculars. I demand an "extra wide" field of view. For many years I used a 7x35 with that wide angle. About twenty-five years ago I discovered a Bushnell 7x32 that was absolutely perfect. I recommended it to friends who also bought them. I also bought one for my father. When they needed to be replaced, I discovered that Bushnell discontinued that line. The "32" is a weird diameter. I was able to find used ones on Ebay which generally served their purpose. (My experience is that binoculars start to lose their sharpness in about four or five years.) So I was SOL for a couple of years being forced to use "old" binoculars that were losing some sharpness.

Flash forward to about three years ago when I discovered some Japanese company (Kenko) that made the a binocular with the exact same specifications that I was looking for. So I ordered it. I kept it in a box for a full season and started using it last year. They are fantastic. But here's the deal. I will ONLY use this pair on good weather days. Using binoculars in wet, rainy weather is the first step towards having it deteriorate. That's my experience anyway. So I used my backup pair for the Cowboys game, and I will do so tomorrow.

I also bought a 4x set a couple years ago just to see what they're like. I brought them to a preseason game a couple of years ago and they were as I imagined. Super wide field of view but the magnification isn't great. I'm actually planning on taking them tomorrow as a backup in case my other ones fog up, which I'm sure they will.

I know that what I should do is order another pair of the Japanese ones and just keep it in a box for a decade (if needed). That way I'll have my (probably) final replacement in hand.

No longer available… (the Jenkins look like they are discontinued in 7x32 as well).

This will sound weird, but supposedly it works.

Using human spit works well to remove external fogging and prevent it from reforming. So it makes a natural anti-fog treatment. Just spit on to the lens and wipe with a lens cloth, ensure there's no grit on the lens before spitting as grit could damage the lens permanently if you rub it into the lens.

I've been told by snowboarders it works on goggles as well.

Some not so weird options I read are dish soap or anti-fog sprays

Not to me, maybe in the 90s, but Dallas is a loser franchise now, we don't need to have an inferiority complex with them anymore. I want to be celebrating with millions down Broad street, and thousands all night a couple nights before like we did in 2018. That feeling, nothing can replace it. And the Commies winning gives us our best chance. Now Eagles gotta take care of business first, but if the Eagles can't beat the Rams then they weren't worthy of getting that Lombardi to begin with and weren't beating any of the top AFC teams.

But all this is moot, I think Detroit is hungry and will win tonight. Barring something crazy, no chance the Commies D can contain that offense.

And there was ZERO chance of Minnesota scoring against the Saints to go to the NFCCG vs. the Eagles.......weird crap happens in the playoffs.  The Double Doink, the Fog Bowl, taking Purdy out of the game...I mean those are 3 right there just with the Eagles.

If I need to use binoculars to watch a live game, I'm staying home and watching on TV.

I wouldn’t be shocked if Hurts leads the team in rushing yards tomorrow. I think the Rams just sell out to stop Barkley, so lots of RPO with Hurts keeping it. Goedert should have a big game as well.

Feels like Moore is gonna get the Dallas job. Eagles are gonna need to get another OC. Hope it's not an inner promotion.

I see a lot of runs for Hurts as well.

Nolan might be the best of both worlds, as he has always been a plus run defender and he’s coming on as a pass rusher… although Sweaty is still getting more attention via slides and chips. If Nolan becomes the focus, and you stacked the roster with run defenders… you might have created a flawed pass rush group.

I see Nolan/Hunt as Jack of all trades in Vic’s base scheme, but rather than acquiring more run defense I think we are missing a DPR (especially if Sweat moves on). Obviously, there are guys who are both good at stopping the run and getting after the QB -> and that is who we should draft.

Your last sentence is why my wet dream is Shemar Stewart.

He doesn't have a fire hydrant build like Graham. And he's not "rocked up".

His arms are not muscular or well defined.  He has a pretty average guy physique despite his height.

Why I compared him to Maxx Crosby. Doesn't have an intimidating physique but dominates anyway.

I don’t disagree with this description, but that still doesn’t make him thin.

Jalyx is fairly typical for edge player at 6’4” 250, Nolan is probably playing below 240lb, but he anchors fine. The concern would be that he couldn’t develop any power in his pass rush arsenal.

One of the things that makes Nolan special is that he does generate much more power than you would expect him to.

Leica 10x42 work very well.  A bit heavy but you can’t beat the combination of resolution, brightness and field of vision.

I’m sure - a bit beyond the pale as far as price point.

Record of each remaining playoff team against the final 8 remaining teams this season:

Eagles 3-1 (Wins: Ravens, Rams, Redskins. Loss: Redskins (Hurts went out on 2nd drive)   +27 point differential in these games.

Ravens 3-2 (Wins: Bills, Redskins, Texans. Losses: Chiefs & Eagles)   +49 point differential in these games

Chiefs 2-1 (Wins: Ravens & Texans. Loss: Bills)   +24 point differential in these games

Lions: 2-1 (Wins: Rams & Texans.  Losses: Bills)    +3 point differential in these games

Bills 2-3 (Wins: Chiefs & Lions. Losses: Ravens, Texans & Rams)   -15 point differential in these games

I remember in 2022 when Dallas was playing SF in the other Divisional game.  Some folks here wanted Dallas to win so that we'd have the opportunity to beat them ourselves on the big stage.

I argued against that notion.  Why invite the possibility of a division rival winning the conference championship in our stadium?  The heartache of losing far would far outweigh any joy of winning.

The same applies here.  If we can't go to the Super Bowl, I'd rather see the Lions get to go for the first time.

The commies are not coming into the Linc and winning a playoff game. It took 3 separate miracles for them to win at home against Kenny Pickett. This team will be foaming at the mouth to play them if we make it past LA and they make it past Detroit, we'll win by 20
