Devin White is inactive for the Texans. What a weird career for him.

I’m sure - a bit beyond the pale as far as price point.

Bought a pair of 12x50 Vortex that are incredibly sharp for the price point.

No idea how they would do for a game, but great specs

Agreed. I know I have an unpopular opinion that’s a way bigger hurdle for the team. I just really want to see them face the Lions. I think that game has the potential to be like the Chiefs/Bills divisional round game a few years ago. Way more juice from an entertainment perspective.

If you want to have fun and put a tin foil hat on, Eagles-Lions should be the teams the league wants to push. They're by far the two best teams left in the NFC. Eagles-Commies NFCCG will be a massacre, Lions-Rams will be enticing for them because of the LA fires but it will also be a massacre. If you want a fun competitive game, Lions-Eagles is the ticket.

It would be fun though to put the jayden daniels D slobbing to rest for a few months, and have a NFCCG similar to the Vikings game before the super bowl win.

Feels like Moore is gonna get the Dallas job. Eagles are gonna need to get another OC. Hope it's not an inner promotion.

qb coach brian griese or byron leftwich , both have behind strong runners and mixed the pass in well at their stops , or kubiak.

Vortex makes a good quality product for the price point - I have a pair of binos and a scope of theirs on one of my rifles

I don't want either of the first two, but I was telling someone yesterday I can see it being Griese. Lurie wants in on the Shanahan tree, but I don't know about that he's a bit unproven.

One thing that I hate about going to the game tomorrow is that I'm am pretty certain the my binoculars are going to fog up to the point that they will become useless. This has happened in wet weather multiple times. That Jags game two years ago comes to mind. I'm someone who uses the "binos" about 99% of the time, so it will be really awkward for me to watch plays on the far side of the field.

And yes, taking the subway is the way to go. It's what I do normally after taking a train from Jersey. I would heartily recommend doing so for people who are going to the game and have that option. It's very easy, and you won't have to face probable nightmares driving out of the lots after the game.

Get some anti fog wipes.  We use them for hunting in cold temps.  They definitely help

I think part of my reasoning also is it just feels inevitable to happen. I don’t see Lions or Eagles losing to these opponents.

Leftwich hasn’t been in the league coaching for over 2 years now. Feels like he just rode the coat tails of Bruce Arians and got a small Brady bump but now that both are done no one really wants him. I think he would be pretty underwhelming.

The Kelces are so freaking annoying. Yes, Jason too. Sick of everyone just slobbing their knobs.

What makes you think Lurie wants in on the Shanahan tree?  Isn't that offense different from what we've been doing the last several years?

Really tired of getting "hot" young coordinators who get poached nonstop.

Where is the older guy who is past the point of wanting a head coaching job, just like Fangio?

Frank Reich?  Mike Caldwell?

I look at the lions this way, their last five games they’re averaging 36 points per game. The one team that beat them had to put up 48 points in order to beat them as they scored 42. I tend to think the commanders defense isn’t as good as Buffalo, Gb or Minnesota who the lions managed to get 42, 31 and 31 against. I think Glenn will find enough stops in this game against the commanders and the lions offensive likely scoring in the 30s.

Any potential OC's that are rock solid like Fangio is for our defense?  Really like the fact that we can stop people now which is different from Gannon before.

Word has been around for a while that he's been enamored by his offense. Lurie always wants a piece of the most dynamic offensive minds. If they go outside the organization I'm sure he'll want someone who worked for an offense he admires.

ONE MORE DAY.   Funny it's normally Buffalo with the crazy snow games.   Let's not complicate this.  The Eagles have the best running game in football.   Run the Ball and send those Defensive Dawgs hunting.  As for Sat games, both #1 Seeds are rested and at home. I would be shocked by an upset.

Reich would be my choice, we know he's not getting a HC gig after.

I've deep dived into this out of curiosity (and a little boredom).

1990 James Brooks  (Bengals)- was 32 yrs old that season.  He had just over 1,000 yards on the year - 20% of his season yards came in that first Houston game.  Only had 5 carries in the playoff rematch because Bengals were up 20-0 by halftime

2014 Jonas Gray (Patriots) - 24 yrs old - only started 3 games in his career - 28% of his career yards came against the Colts in that first game.  Only had 4 attempts in rematch as Pats beat Colts 45-7

2016 Jay Ajayi (Dolphins) - 23 yrs old  - He left the playoff rematch with an injury after 16 attempts.  Steelers were up 20-6 at halftime and 30-6 after 3rd qtr

2012 Adrian Peterson (Vikings) - 27 yrs old and this was his 2,097 yd season so it's probably the closest comparison to Barkley this year.  Had 22 carries for his 99 yds in the playoff rematch.  Packers were up 17-3 at half and 24-3 after 3rd qtr

1997 Barry Sanders (Lions) - 29 yrs old.  This was his 2,053 yd season.  18 attempts in playoff rematch for 65 yds - against Dungy's 6th ranked rushing D.  Bucs were up 13-0 at half

2000 Marshall Faulk (Rams) - 27 yrs old - only 14 attempts in playoff rematch, but he was stuffed for just 24 yards.  Game was close - Kurt Warner threw 3 INTs and Saints won 31-28.  Saints rush D was good, not great that year (10th)

-------

Basically the Eagles can't cough up the ball and let the Rams get a decent lead early.  Some of those 200 yard rushing games in this stat were outliers - not great players.  I don't think any of those teams had an o-line like the Eagles, and I doubt the defenses were as undersized as the 22nd ranked Rams run D

Im rooting for Commies and Bills…don’t care about the Texans/Chiefs.  I do think whoever wins the Ravens/Bills game will beat the Chiefs next week.

Good to see you too
