Good call from @mattwill, who was steadfast in his prediction of a Commanders win.  I’m 1-1 on this week’s predictions; I didn’t think the Washington defense would allow them to keep pace with Detroit’s offense.

Goff turned into a pumpkin tonight. What an absolute collapse by one of the most hyped teams in years.

That was a collapse by their offense. That stupid trick play that led to an int was soo foolish..they were gashing them on the ground while they were within one possession. No need to get cute there

Lions used up their luck in the 5 turnover game against the Texans. Couldn’t overcome 5 turnovers tonight with how decimated their defense was 

Still can’t believe that Washington upset. Have to take care of business tomorrow. Having HFA now is such a blessing.

I can. Detroit was very banged up and I wasn't really convinced that they were really "all that". Good on them for getting the 1 Seed, but all it did was drop them in the draft.

Agree all around. I just think someone needs to absolutely unload on him and take the 15 yards. Maybe even knock him out of the game. Few teams decide to do this and he'll stop getting cute.

Yep, win tomorrow and we get the NFCCG at the Linc. 

All three of those NFC North teams had inflated records because of the ease of their schedules.  DET always resembled a 13-4 team, MIN a 12-5, and GB a 9-8 team

They won because KP was playing and they punted like crazy. If not for the cheap shot that game isn't close. Barkley would have kept running all over them but they didn't have to defend the pass and the D wouldn't have gotten tired. Throw in CJ getting kicked and the confusion in the secondary after. Good team? Yeah, but not as good as the Eagles. 

 

The road being set up so well like this makes me anxious, because the road was set up like that for the Phillies in 2023 and they blew it to the Fing negative point differential Diamondbacks.

They did yeah you are right… But they just handed it to the Lions after winning on the road to Tampa. That’s a good team with a lot of confidence and a QB who is playing without fear.

I posted something that said every team the Eagles face is the hottest team. The Ravens were hot. Pitt was hot. GB was hot. Now the Rams are. 

If they win tomorrow they host with better lines on both sides of the ball.

That is kind of funny that the narrative is the same everything week especially when we are the team that has won 13 of the last 14 and only lost when Hurts went down.

Enough of the team from Wash.  We play the Rams today.
