Now seems like a good time to bring this up, has McVay and his Rams beaten the Eagles yet? Pretty sure Doug beat him twice and Sirianni once or twice as well.

Week 2 in 2020 at the Linc.

The last time he depended on a smitty drop to win, he threw the game away

Still did what he needed too yo close the game out. Do you think Hurts does that?

Offensive lineman?

I am not saying Hurts sucks. I do think he limits the offenses playbook potential with what he doesn't do well, and that is see the field and process reads quickly enough. He has improved some this year but I would be surprised if they call many plays beyond two reads in his progressions.

Hurts is definitely not a top 5 QB in the league, he is middle of the pack, because he can run. His role role since the addition of SB this year in addition to the rise of the defense can be equated to Trent Dilfer the year he won a SB with the Ravens...that's just an opinion, one of many here.

It is the correct opinion Joe, I assure you.

Helluva season.  Two games to go.  Hope the Prize Pig is ready.

Rams are usually a tough opponent.

@TEW has a point, the Eagles might be undefeated with a top 5 QB, possibly even a Matt Stafford. The roster is that loaded.

Cant have a top 5 player at every position though. Would be nice but Hurts is what we have. And he’s better than Kenny Picket. The weather was also horrendous.

On the other hand, some of the sacks are ridiculous and Hurts needs to really figure out how to have a plan before the snap or something, if it goes bad. Too many plays where he just freezes.

We have saquon to close games out because hurts can't

If the Eagles win the SB, who is the bigger Philly celebrity? Foles or Barkley?

Depends how we win the hypothetical Super Bowl with Barkley.

But I’m going to say Foles. That was a historic level performance against an all time great team, with one of the most memorable plays in NFL history.

Some of you are way too unhappy after a playoff win.

FINAL FOUR

I asked AI to give me a great poster of Barkley, the defense, and Jalen Hurts on the road to a championship.

Saquon didn't need the snow to do what he did to that team... in fact, in perfect conditions he put up 255.  Today he put up 205.   No advantage gained.   Gainwell had 1 carry for 10 yards and 1 reception for 10 yards.  Gainwell also had more last time against the Rams.

Yes and no, his what ended up being game sealing TD run was 70% on the weather and 30% him being a generational talent.  I said it before the play, 1 slip and the game is over.

lol exactly my point 🤪

Didn't play poorly??? What game did you watch?

The one played today…we don’t have to agree.  It’s pretty obvious we won’t. So we probably shouldn’t try.

I didn’t say he played great.  Sometimes I wonder why some are so sensitive about it.  If I think he sucked during a game, I’ll say so.  I have no issues with that.  I just don’t feel it’s the case as much as some others do…I’m perfectly aware of that, and that’s fine

We don't even need a top 10 QB, we just need one who can actually be a threat to throw the ball and not turn it over.

Even our resident Cowboys fan gets it. Admitting this doesn't mean Hurts sucks, or that we hate Hurts. It's just being honest with who he is.

I mean you have people using 1 yard tush push TDs for a disingenuous TD count and rushing yards for total yardage, I don't see why taking yardage lost due to sacks into account would be a huge issue.

Yardage loss due to sacks is a team stat for a reason.   Sacks aren’t always the QB’s fault - usually other factors involved, like poor pass protection, bad route running, or great defensive coverage, etc

The "tush push” at a 1 YPC average also doesn’t "add” to a QB’s rushing stats - if anything, it hurts his YPC average.

Foles SB performance might have been one of the single greatest QB performances of any game.  He made 3 or 4 throws that game that most QB’s make once or twice in their career.

I don't think anyone is unhappy that they won, I'm not seeing anyone upset about it

Gainwell looked good on those two carries too and then Moore forgets the guy even exists. With Hurts having the knee issue that was criminal on Moore's part. I was irate over it. They love using Gainwell in odd times, now here it makes total sense to use him and nope, let him ride the pine.
