EMB Blog: 2024 Regular Season (Part 2) ... and Playoffs

I think my biggest argument would be CB/NCB. Bradberry was an all pro that year. Slay was a pro-bowler with 3 picks. NCB Maddox was still good but injured a lot so that would go to 2024. Gut reaction would be push. I don’t think 2024 is necessarily easily better.

Bradberry got grabby on the most important play of the game... :nonono:

It's annoying too cause mahomes sailed that ball, dude wasn't catching it anyway. It's ridiculous that catchability only applies to PI.

after fees the cheapest ticket is actually well over $700. Which is right on par with what I paid for the eagles/9ers championship game. Doesnt seem to have changed much.

Ill tell you what I found impressive though. The jump in prices from last week. I looked today to see how much my exact seats from Sunday will cost.  I paid $364 after fees, and the ticket today was $2200. Upper levels, you could have had them last week for 215. Maybe like 260 after fees. Today, again, they are over 700, and many of them are being sold for well over $1,000.

The face value of our tickets for the championship game is $370. The face value for the Rams was "only" $240. The mark-up is ridiculous.

I got northeast terrace level 1 row 4 on sunday. On ticketmaster they were blue dots indicating that they were face value tickets rather than re-sale. I dont remember the price before fees, but 364 was the total price per ticekt.

I did notice last weeks game seemed to be about $100 more than the wildcard round but tickets did start dropping throughout the week as the snow got more and more hyped.

"The read option is dead" as Kenny G picks up an easy 10 yards because the DE crashes in on Hurts this time, after burning them on the first drive of the game for a 44 TD on the exact same play

And then Moore benches him the rest of the game

I haven't done much study on the 2025 draft to have an idea on relative positional depth, but I see the Eagles priorities heading into the draft presently as follows:

-- EDGE

-- TE

-- RT

-- RB2

This assumes Baun is re-signed (hopefully Williams and Becton as well).  After that it can be BPA (which it always should be, anyway -- within reason)

Its an excellent RB class

Kelce had 7 penalties in 2022, which was the second highest total of his career and most by any Center that season.

That is meaningful /relevant because?

This is outrageous.

I cannot see how someone reads this article and doesn’t conclude the NFL is fixed.

Saquon Barkley has 2,329 yards in regular and postseason, only Terrell Davis has more, with 2,476 yards.  Saquon only needs 148 more yards to break the record.

That was a great game! As a Packers fan thank you guys forever for that one.

I think Mahomes screwed up his little sweetheart status by playing up the sideline late hit flop.  He embarrassed the referees by doing that after already getting the call a couple times.

The NFL wouldn't give a ish and theyd keep giving him calls if he didn't make a mockery of the whole thing on a national stage.  I think you're going to see that stuff come to an end, hopefully.

You can't have flopping in the NFL where players openly employ a strategy of trying to game the refs, it just doesn't jibe like in basketball or soccer.

Probably going to get it if we make the SB.

I'm assuming terrace level (not even sure where that is but I guess it's mid) is higher priced than where we are, which is surely higher than the nosebleeds. For us, Packers was 190, Rams 240, Washington 370. I hate that they escalate as much as they do.

Thanks for owning Dallas ‘14, ‘16, and the massacre in ‘23 🤣🤣
