Correct.  We'll have none of that.  Also, apparently the cap has also been dispersed throughout the roster so perfectly that we probably shouldn't discuss that either.  Who wants to discuss the possibility that we might not be able to re-sign 1 or 2 of Baun, Becton, Williams, or extend Cam Jurgens when we want to?  It's not our money, so don't worry about it.  And don't discuss it unless it's only praise.

Isn't it fascinating the Eagles have a real shot at winning the Super Bowl with a QB playing like Hurts is right now? Howie is using sabermetrics in drafting/scouting and this is the team he has assembled.

Great GM's know and learn how to win in unconventional ways.

Bucs absolutely winning the NFC South again.

Super curious to see who takes that job. The jags have talent on offense and if you believe you can fix Trevor Lawrence. Their front office setup and ownership stinks so I’m guessing there’s many coaches who don’t want to take it due to that even if there’s just 32 HC jobs.

You do realize the point of a message board is to not talk about anything, right?

Doug Pederson

Sweat needs to step up, he's disappeared again. Feels like he was really good from like week 4-14 or whatever, but has kinda tailed off again lately. I thought in the middle of the season you gotta bring him back, but now I'm thinking he won't be back next season and Howie will go heavy edge in free agency and draft. Wouldn't be surprised to see Howie draft two pass rushers kinda like he did with CBs. Hoping to hit on at least one. The Commies OL isn't good, the Eagles should be able to get pressure.

Marcus hayes seemingly always involved…

I hope someone shoves Marcus Hayes into a locker again. That was Embiid's one highlight this year.

Bills Mafia

It's at $62k now

Unfortunately 'winning' does not equal 'won'.

The Eagles were only up 16-10 against the Packers in the 4th quarter, and were 12 yards from losing to the Rams this past week.  Washington has a very good offense (7th in total yards, 5th in points) and scored 22 4th quarter points against the Eagles in their last meeting.

Just watched the week 16 game to see what happened in the 2nd half.  Daniels made some very nice plays for sure but there were two plays that killed us. First, the 4th and 11 scramble where the Dline lost all discipline on the rush.  Let's hope they learned their lesson.  Second, blown coverage on Zachius for the long TD.  It wasn't like the D was getting gashed.

One thing that also stood out was that we blitzed a lot.  Usually one extra rusher but sometimes two. Daniels beat it on occasion but also made some errant throws.  I wouldn't be surprised if Vic blitzes a good bit on Sunday.  Need to stay in our lanes and not go past Daniels.

There also seemed to be confusion in the secondary, especially on the last TD after CJ went out.

And we still win that game if Smith doesn’t drop the ball. The Eagles just can’t go 3 and out constantly and we should be fine.

Are we getting 5 turnovers again?

Or win the TOP 36:18 to 23:42?

You didn't answer my question.  Where are you allocating that money in order to have the same level of success?  I could understand the concerns if this team wasn't having success.  We, and every other NFL team has those same concerns each year about who they can keep/resign.  Acting as if this is an Eagles only issue is silly, and you'd be an idiot to discard Smith and AJ simply because they've had 1 season in which their numbers are down... But go ahead keep pouting about it 😂

Yup. Worst player on the defense.

Huff should be taking some of his pass-rush snaps as at least Huff gets close to the QB. I get not playing Huff in the snow given how often he falls when the field is fine.

Went 3-1 in predictions last week and 8-2 for the playoffs so far.  Only 3 games left to go:

AFC Championship -- Bills 30, Chiefs 24

The Chiefs haven't been dominant at all this season and more closely resemble the Vikings from a couple of years ago with all of their one-score wins.  The MVP should be Saquon Barkley because he delivered 3-4 wins for the Eagles, but if it's a QB award then Josh Allen has been league MVP this season.  He is playing better football than Patrick Mahomes this season.  KC has the better defense and better coaching, but I'm picking the Bills this weekend.

NFC Championship -- Eagles 27, Commanders 16

Washington has been a great story all season and are playing with house money in these playoffs, but they're not a good enough team yet to go to the Super Bowl.  Not enough has been said, IMO, about the Eagles benefit of this being a home game instead of travelling to Detroit.  For me, this game comes down to the Eagles OL and Barkley against the 28th ranked run defense in yards per carry against.  Say what you want about the Eagles' methodology this post season, but it should work again this Sunday vs Washington.  They should be able to dictate the flow of this game, control the clock, and the defense should be able to limit Daniels' success and force a couple more turnovers.

I think any objective fan understands that losing Jalen cost us that game. We were on the way towards a blowout win and then everything changed. Even with that, the team still could've won, but other things happened like CJ getting ejected, and Smitty dropping a pass to ice things.  I think Barkley goes off for a huge game and the defense does their job and we win convincingly this weekend.

I don't think I like your questions very much... they cause undue worry.

Ah Joey bosa… memories

I honestly see this game as a coin flip at this point.  Memories of Daniels torching our defense are pretty fresh, not to mention he'll have Ekeler for this game.  Washington is playing loose and with house money.  All the pressure is on Philly.
