They are not letting Davis walk, he's the key to their base defense.

Sweat is another matter, they'll expect more out of Huff, Hunt looks ready for a major role, and unlike Sweat, he can be a legitimate 3-4 OLB as well as an edge rusher.

Plus Ojoma is perfect for DE whether in a 3-4 or 2-4-5 formation.

Well, we thought the big NT was the key to a Fangio defense. That was with Gannon and Desai running their iterations of the Fangio defense. Fangio himself arrived, and....have you noticed the snap counts for Jordan Davis? You might have to rethink his importance.

Milton Williams is really good and expecting another DT to replace him even though its a good class is quite a gamble.

On the other hand, Jordan Davis is dominant in the few snaps he plays. But its going to be really hard to justify a nice contract for his minimal contribution. On the other hand, a big NT is typically a bit easier to find. Get good value a bit later because not every team is looking for one. And, a guy like Ty Robinson looks like he is already what we hoped Jordan Davis would become.

Daniels is legit. He may slide backwards a little next year like Stroud but he’s going to be a thorn in our side for years to come.

I think it depends. He’s skinny and most guys that run a lot are never the same after their first big injury. I’m not wishing that on him at all but just saying he could be a totally different player in a couple years. (Wentz, RG3, etc)

He could also get lucky and never have a significant injury and make our lives miserable. 😂

The expectation at this point would be Moore getting the Saints job amd the saints trading a 2nd round pick for McKee.

Saints 2nd Round pick is #40.  I wouldn’t be unhappy with that.

Forget McKee.

Let's trade Kenny Pickett to New Orleans for their 3rd.

Understood.  Regardless, I liked what I was hearing about Arroyo as a TE possibility in the Draft.

Replay is in nfl network now

I think the emergence of Ojomo seals Williams fate.  We can't pay everyone and I think Baun and Becton will be prioritized ahead of Williams.

And there's some good defensive tackles. I'd have moving up for Walter Nolan to pair up with Carter as one option to consider.

Walter Nolen is a family friend and think he would a great fit next to Carter. His potential is off the charts as well.

Tack it to the bulletin board.

Print it on toilet paper. The Titans would likely be in the red zone once against anybody.

Colin also said we weren’t a playoff team coming into the season. Now we have the "best roster,” in football but we won’t be able to get in the redzone? Lol. Not that it matters now but we did beat the chiefs last season in KC, with a team that couldn’t hold a candle to this one

No worries, this **** couldn’t name 3 guys on our defense.

Is he going to make our defense look like Fangio's prevent defense on every drive?

Graham likes to talk… He likes to be in front of the fans and be in the news.  It would be a feel good story if he could come and play in the Super Bowl and get a sack, or a big play… but he has been kind of a tease with this.

But Marcus Hayes said he’s coming off IR today!

Meh. Mahomes record against the whole league this year is 17-1. He's possibly the GOAT and has a great record against everyone, and Fangio has been on some horrendous teams.

Every year one of the coolest merch items for the Super Bowl are the media day jackets that each team wears.

Always my favorite thing to order, but they have not made them available this year that I can find.

If anyone knows where to find one please let me know.

It's my greatest fear. Fangio has been great this year, but Mahomes+Reid are on another level.

Yea, the key to a base defense is playing 20%, 24% and 16% of snaps while only out snapping Thomas Booker out of all DT’s.

I still get all worked up on game days, but losses don’t linger like they used to, even the loss two years ago to the Chiefs. Being in the Super Bowl is cool as hell, but winning LII has me appreciating SB berths. I just don’t feel the pressure anymore.

Agree that of the group Davis is the "easiest" to replace but fortunately he is only year 3.  We have him for two more years if we want.  Next year for sure.  As you intimated, Williams and Baun are the must haves.

I think due to his injury Dean will not play a bunch during the 4th and final year of his contract next season and we will likely be able to resign him on a 1 or 2 year deal at a decent price.  That helps.

Now, if Lane decides to retire if we win the SB, as has been whispered, signing Becton becomes more of a priority.  It could be hard to sign all of Becton, Williams, and Baun.

Streaks like that are meant to be broken.  If anything, the odds would be in our favor.

Fangio has never had a defense like this and Mahomes may have never played against a defense like this either - certainly not this year.

If this defense plays their A game they can shut any offense down - even a Mahomes/Reid offense.

I think if he had let up it maybe doesn't get called but he ran through Barkley trying to hit him.

Yeah exactly, if he pulled back instead of following through on the hit they would have called it incidental contact.

But following through full force out of bounds is an obvious penalty.

Yup. You have a guy at QB who might legitimately challenge Brady as the GOAT and Andy Reid might be the greatest coach of all time as well.
