I particularly agree with you on the Wilson pass.  Hurts and Wilson need to do high pointing reps in practice over and over and over again.  Use Wilon's height and vertical leap as a weapon.

Every QB is going to miss throws, that’s one that just wasn’t at its mark.  I oft find myself struggling to remember that they’re all human too at times.  I still want to harp on playcalling issues though, and I will till the RZ being tush push or nothing is figured out.

Panthers could be a tricky game, right @Bwestbrook36?

Does his Broncos time overlap with Fangio?

Nope

Downhill, I absolutely love him.  He’s smart and does things fundamentally. He seems to have shaken the missed tackle bug there.  I’m curious to see how coverage was this game though. I never saw him…which is a good thing for a LB.

Partial tear? I'm not seeing that

Even with a hypothetical loss to the Rams two nights ago, putting us at 8-3, I would still be feeling so much more confident about our ability to contend in January than I did last year at this same point with a 10-1 record.

We have won a few games in ugly fashion, but outside of the Giants game I don’t think we have had any fools gold type games that I still have PTSD from like last year.

Watching the BAL-SD recap and Henry get free runs through the B gaps, going to have muck that up before he gets all that momentum. Big week for the defense, not sure Slay wants a part of this coming off a concussion.

You’ll all crush me for this, but the Graham loss is sentimental and all, but it’s not what everyone is making it out to be.

The biggest difference to last year is the defense and that they have been playing more complimentary football. Those things were atrocious last year. The offense basically had to be almost perfect, which they weren’t of course, because the defense couldn’t consistently stop anyone. And if they actually managed to come up with a stop, the offense would go into a funk and go three and out or turn it right back over.

Not a single unit played with any consistency last year…that’s the big difference.  If the O ish’s the bed I’m confident in the D this year…if the D ish’s the bed, I’m confident in them turning it around and the O putting points up.  I have concerns about the RZ efficiency but it’s night and day from last year.  Last year it was the whole team.

Was Troy Aikman a good QB?

This is a funny question…he’s a HOF’r but he’s the Eli Manning of Trent Dilfers in my head.  Mainly because I hate the turds so much…but I do think he’s a bit overrated in where he’s placed within the list of all time QB’s.

Didn’t you say people say it every week earlier? I was getting next weeks out of the way.

He didn’t say one way or the other. WIP was discussing him returning for the playoffs earlier and they mentioned that he said on WIP today he’d be cleared after 6 weeks so they discussed him coming back.

All I've heard him say is he was done

I don’t know if it was already mentioned but Eagles worked out Malik Reed today also

I don’t see it as a team-crushing injury.  He’s played really well for his age, and he can still (and will) continue to be a locker room leader.

I guess I don’t see that many people seeing this as ‘devastating’…I see most seeing it as more sentimental than anything

I'd be very surprised if Slay can play.  He got trucked and looked the part.

I'm still waiting to hear Cox is coming back.

Wild to think about Aikman. He won the MVP with 15 TDs. That's insane. His highest TD season was with 23.

Did you see what he was doing to the Rams? He was playing nearly 50% of the defensive snaps, had 3.5 sacks on the year and was as sturdy as they come against the run. Add in his trash talking (which the way he does it, has to get under the other teams skin) and it is definitely a loss. It's not a season killing loss, but this isn't like Tristin McCollum just got hurt. BG was a big part of the defense and the success they were having.

What a perfect description of this guy 🤣

It absolutely is. Our depth at Edge was bad to begin with and he still plays the run well and makes some flash plays.

We can survive the season, but it stings.

Or in someone else’s wife.
