The tricky thing with Goedert is that he’s still really good when he plays and when they call his number, despite the fact that his stats are deteriorating and he’s always hurt.

Unless it's making a trade. He has been bad at those lately. If he didn't blow a 3rd on Dot he could have gotten a DE at the deadline. Nobody is perfect. Just don't get it.

I have no problem with nerds, but I had a problem with him when the consensus was that the draft wasn’t his strong suit.  (And he’s got his graveyard of bad picks).  But the current Eagles have so many incredible draft picks, so that monkey may be off his back.

He's hit or miss but makes good decisions for the most part.  

Some seasons he misses on draft picks and FA's.  But honestly that's the case for pretty much every GM.  Nobody gets it right 100% of the time.

Mason is better than McCaffery at this point

never was true. chip kelly and Joe Douglas had a bunch of consecutive years screwing up our draft process and it was attributed to Howie.

The biggest reason the Eagles have started 3 seasons in a row 10-1 or 10-2 is because they’ve drafted much better. The Eagles have nailed 4 drafts in a row.

I think that’s out the door this year. QBs have been noticeably down, and the best teams are run oriented.

The vibe shift is palpable — as long as things continued as is, Barkley wins it.

And I expect half the teams in the NFL to look for a mammoth RG and high end RB in the offseason.

I’m normally the one to downward adjust optimism….but I think single might end up being too conservative for Nolan Smith.  I think hes right on the threshold of a major light going on.

Hunt looks good early.  Agree with TBD, but he’s off to a better than expected start.

Milton Williams is tricky; I’ve been the captain of his bandwagon from year 1.  I think a triple might be a bit generous.  He’s really turning it on right now…and he’s probably gone next year.
