I still don't want it.  I really would prefer they not use him as much as they do running the ball by design, or even as frequently as they Tush Push.   Basically, I don't like the idea of my QB being involved in a scrum.   Too many bad things can happen in there, especially to the hands and/or fingers, and more importantly with someone not used to blocking/pushing others.   When he's running the Tush Push, he's at least keeping his hands and fingers in tight and close to his body so that they can't get bent backwards or sideways easily while he's clutching the ball.  But, in a scrum... all bets are off.  And he'd have even less protections than when he's the ball carrier.

Completely agree.  I thought Hurts was bad yesterday, and then I re-watched the game and thought he was actually worse than I thought.  It was easily his worst game of the season. But I would fall far short of criticizing him for that play… That’s just being ridiculous.

Imagine if your QB getting injured on such a play wouldnt actually be a detriment to the offense...

I don't have the same level of distaste for Hurts that you do.

oh I know you care a lot. Youre always here to post about my posts rather than posting your own content.

Sure I post my own but maybe you could stop posting stupid stuff. That would probably help you out if you don't like push back. You seem to have an issue with that.

In other news, the Cardinals no longer play in Chicago either.

And Raiders Oakland. I still call DC Redskins. No big deal.

There aren't many fans of either team, but the ones that do exist are almost all Rams fans from before they left. I don't know a single Chargers fan out here. Seriously.

The Eagles game this year was ~65% Eagles fans. The one against the Chargers in 2017 was ~90%.

Might try to catch a game in SoFi on our next trip out there in a few years. Looks like a pretty cool stadium. Kids we too young when we were there last year.

I think the best way he can help right now is with his physicality. Theres no use in saving him for his arm and smarts we get nothing form him in those departments.

I dont watch the talking heads much but I'll say it again... Stafford > Goff/Love/Cousins/Hurts

And I'm far from being a Hurts hater, I just think Stafford is a really good QB. Of course it helps to have guys like Coop and Puka to throw to, but when healthy, he's got all the tools you want in a QB. I think Herbert can get there too, but might need a better environment to develop in. For Stafford, that meant getting out of Detroit and into a McVay offense. Likewise, I think Herbert in an offense like in Miami or SF would put up some wild ass numbers.

I'll go so far as to say that if Stafford was the QB here that the Eagles would be the favorite to win the Super Bowl this year... and right there with the Lions for the top seed, not a game and a half (due to the tie breakers) behind.  And even if the Eagles were still 11-2 rather than 12-1, I'd still feel better with Stafford at QB than Hurts right now.   Not even close.

And, I'll say that I wouldn't feel that way if the Eagles had Goff, Love, or Cousins.  Stafford truly is head and shoulders above those guys.

It's a great stadium. Weird because you go down after entering. But it really is a great place to see a game.

I know most people are transplants anyway, but whats the split between Rams and Chargers fans?

I think its 20% Rams, 5% Chargers and 75% anyone else.

Goff would be efficient with those weapons. I'd take him in a second. Stafford is way above we agree.

Good choice. I took it as him joking about Exciting Whites vs Mediocre Whites. I'm white. @vikas83 is brown. Try not to take everything so seriously.

I had a lot of bourbon and sweet and spicy meatballs last night that have resulted in exciting browns all day today!

That's about right, but I've never met that 5%....

I've never seen one Chargers fan ever. Closest thing was that one lady who was a plant they had a year or two ago.

I would have thought they'd get some just because of Herbert

My father-in-law is a Chargers fan and that's only because the Rams left LA.  That's the only one I know.

They just said on 97.5 that Elliott has been the worst kicker from 50+ this season in 30 years.

I put all of my 401K in it.  It was a pain buying all of that Hawk Tuah coin to make the investment but I am counting on it.

3 and outs, and also the fact that we have reduced Hurts attempts to about 20 per game. Thats just not enough to spread the ball around to all of the worthy receiving options. And hes not capable of throwing it more without making numerous costly mistakes.

He has the capability.  He hasn't demonstrated it this year.

They are still in SD.   They just come up on game day.

I had a neighbor that was from San Diego and was a Chargers fan.  He was a good dude.
