Rooting for Dallas so that they don't get a blue chip draft pick.

They’ll just use it on a rb with a 2nd round grade

Besides Brady who was the last elite QB to retire on top? Peyton played like crap his last year. Ben went out sad. Brees couldn't throw for a bit. Rodgers took a nose dive

At his peak, I'd put Andrews a shade under Allen, but above nearly all the other guards of his era.  Shame it all ended so soon.

Shaun Andrews was really good, but I’m a big Brian Waters guy. He was the god of run blocking

Martin’s  2017 was phenomenal.  Not a single penalty. That should get him in.  Ironically, he wasn’t an All Pro that season but he has a bunch of those too.

At the beginning of the season Martin had more Pro Bowl selections (9) than holding penalties (6) in his entire career, he has allowed 19 sacks in 11 seasons (7 in the last two).

Add the center from Pittsburgh...Webster I believe. Kelce for his size was just tremendous, such an intelligent player.

Colts have been pretty good at identifying Cs.  Saturday and Kelly make a good argument.  Saturday was what we got to see with Kelce before Jason came along.

18 seasons.  Top-12 in yardage differential in 14 of them.  Only 3 seasons under .500.

Good enough to be on national TV during the regular season with time off in January.

Didn't Romo have some stacked teams too and not do anything with it?

Romo never had a defense like Dak has been given a few times. They tried to outscore everyone. He had some talent around him, just not as complete of teams as Dak had...imo.

I didn't watch him much back then.

You laugh at this @NCiggles but for fantasy purposes this doesn’t help me for our matchup because you haven’t set your lineup in months.

I kind of forgot about that League.

Don't forget Nate Newton and his pick up full of the sticky.

🤣 got caught twice..he lives ten miles away from me, saw him at the GMC dealership a couple of times. He is kind of an azzhat really.

He also doesn't think being blinded by the sun is a problem on game days.

But he will put up the curtains for a night fight and concerts, just f'ing stupid, stubborn old man who cannot admit when he is wrong.

"Me and James can't win alone"

when you remove a gold-standard, champion pedigree guy like James Harden it's really crushing -- even for a blood-and-guts Iron Man performer like Embiid.

Certainly hope not.  He's terrible.

Wow.  Supposedly they had a great relationship.

Never heard of Embiid being late to stuff before.

I'll give you some names to consider...

Jim Otto, Dermonti Dawson, Jim Ringo...  Two of them are before my time.

Here's a story about Jim Ringo that I once heard. I have no reason to believe it's not true. Ringo was the starting center for the Packers in their early Lombardi championship years. Ringo wanted more money and went to Lombardi's office to ask for a raise. Lombardi asked him to wait a moment and that he'd get back to him shortly. When Ringo came back in, Lombardi politely told him not to bother negotiating with the Packers, that he was now a member of the Philadelphia Eagles and that he should talk to them instead. He had traded him that quickly.

From The Athletic:

Dallas is now 0-5 in its own stadium. Even Jake Paul has a win there.

Too late to trade him now for proper return.

Like many on that team in that era.   Irvin being the poster boy.

I thought Romo was a good player but I’m pretty sure there was a year where he had 13 pro bowlers on his team and they still fell short.

I heard that too.  Might be true... might not be, but it would fit with how things worked back then.
