I'd gladly take the Vikings loss and worry about the rest later. Detroit could very well lose the first game and we host. I don't think the Vikings would and we'd be in Minny. Shame the 49ers are such a crap show, though.

Kinda where I'm at. I want the 1 seed, but if not us, then I'm ok with Detroit getting it. I think they're banged up and more vulnerable, but I have no hate for the Lions, and would rather they go to the Super Bowl if we don't.

The overall fan base.   I have a friend who has been a lifelong Lions fan.  He still is, but in the last 5 years, he gave up his season tickets and started to 'check out' the game each week, rather than organizing his entire weekend around it.   He's happy with the current state of the team, but told me he's not as vested as he was back when they would break his heart... aka, the Barry Sanders era, and the beat down the Eagles put on him at the Vet in '96.

Makes sense. If they can sustain this window a bit they will bring some back. I don't remember Ford Field being particularly loud for their home opener against the Eagles in 2022 but the last two years they are showing up more and more. Reminds me of the Phillies recent path.

I have this weird feeling that the Vikes are going to lose this week and screw us up with the Lions by sitting everyone for the game, lol.  So need a miracle in the Chi/Detroit or SF/Detroit games.

Do you fear playing in Detroit? I'd prefer the NFCCG be in Philly, of course. But I have no fear of the Eagles playing in Detroit. Especially with their entire defense on IR.

Don't count on the Bears giving any help. Their Captains are already talking about getting it figured out "next year" and thinking about vacations.

Would 100% trade this weirdo

Bears are eliminated. Why would they help?

I feel the same way.

Niners need to win this week because then at least they have a statistical chance (less than 1%?) to throw everything at the Detroit game. Weather, trick plays, zero blitzes, flea flickers, free kicks, drop kicks, maybe make some completions and some runs (by whom I do not claim to know).

I truly feel that this Eagles D and this O, performing at not more than an adequate level, can and will beat any team (including the WFT, Vikes, Lions, Bucs and all the AFC teams). I really do. I don't believe in jinxes so am not afraid to say the Eagles can and will win the Superbowl this year, provided they can avoid key injuries.

They are likely useless to us.

Eskin was always a shlock jock moron

Micah is just giving money away. His agent is going to fire him 😂.

Seriously though I don’t see how this plays out well for Parsons. Just go ahead and get paid man, ain’t nobody else going to walk away from the money. Jerry is going to end up giving Micah’s money to a scrub. It’s admirable to see Micah trying to be unselfish, I just think he’ll regret it long term because the DAL FO is sh!t with JJ pulling the strings.

Nah it's good he is looking for a deal that allows for good players around him... after he leaves Dallas.

Show some pride, be professional, win the game for their team. It's not asking for them to "help" the Eagles. It's asking them to at least try to compete. But they seemed to rollover.

Yea that usually happens when teams are eliminated lol

Do us a solid Andrew Berry.

Covey still out despite being a FP for two weeks now. Hopefully DeJean doesn't get blown up again.

Brown doesn't even have a designation. Still not sure why everyone was freaking out.

Can't imagine Fangio is happy Covey is out with DeJean taking shots like he did. Not sure why they're so averse to Covey returning punts again.

Thrilled they're giving Huff more time. Let that bad-boy heal up completely. Need him for the stretch run because we frankly need a better 3rd edge rusher than Hunt.

Was hoping Huff might be ready as I think he should get some snaps before the playoffs. Hopefully the next 2 weeks.

Agree. The Vikings have a good defense and the weakest part of the Eagles is their offense. I'd rather them not face a good defense in a loud environment that could confuse Hurts communicating with the OL and WR vs a loud Detroit with a defense with holes all over the place.

Loser franchises, yea. Texans were in the same spot with even more on the line with the #1 pick in the balance, but they showed up. Ended out working pretty nice for them too.

With 3 games still to play, no one should be giving up already.

No. Why be concerned? He hasn't missed any day of practice and was listed as rest/knee, it wasn't just knee. Eagles probably only even put knee to not get in trouble like when they were hiding the Hurts ankle thing. It's a big nothing burger until he actually misses time.

Yeah sorry we are 5 hours ahead here so I see stuff from yesterday and at the time there’s no update on our side due to the time difference.

Any interest? He has to be better than Dotson. But bizarre character issues with him refusing to go in games.

Not playing spoilers... making beach front reservations.

Maybe.  He was a season ticket holder... he's given them up and has no plans to go back regardless of what the team does.
