The overhead view showed the ball clearly across the goal line.   If the call was about the knee, then they placed the ball WAY past where it should have been because he wasn't that close to the goal line when his knee MAY have hit the ground.  So, they messed up the call, one way or the other.   Doesn't matter now I guess... Eagles with the TD... and start the half with the ball after halftime.

His knee clearly was down though, he wasn’t in on the first one

Ok.  Then the ball should have been much further from the goal line based on where it was when the knee was down.  But, was there clearly 'contact' with him from a defender when the knee was down?  Or was he only touched by the butts of his own players at that point?

There is a reason they didn’t confirm it, it was not clear.

Correct.  So, they either screwed it up by moving the ball too far forward or by not awarding the TD.  Either way, they were wrong.
