I hope SIrianni continues the aggressive mentality like the 4th and 5 into this game. You need to be aggressive like that to beat the Chiefs. Settling for 50 yard field goals and missing them is going to come back to bite you against them. I also think preparing against a player with Daniels skill set will help them vs the Chiefs, because he buys time with his legs very similarly. He's not nearly as good or savvy obviously, but at least they have defending a mobile QB in their muscle memory right now.

Picking up the jersey discussion.

Eagles will wear their white jerseys in NEXT year's Super Bowl when they're defending this year's SB title.

Yup...anything to get the Chiefs out of those red jerseys...the refs, as humans, see red faster than any other color. It makes it harder to protect them....lol

Been contemplating who'd we open up against on Thursday night.  Home games are DAL, NYG, WAS, DET, CHI, LAR, DEN, and LVR.

The NFL would want a competitive opponent, so rule out DAL, NYG, CHI, and LVR.  DEN has no juice.

The options would be DET - the matchup that never happened in 2024.  LAR - one play away from the division round upset.  WAS - a heated division rivalry is reborn.

DET or WAS have the most juice by far.  I expect one of them in our opener.

Rams will be dependent upon if Stafford retires.

I just don't see the NFL breaking recent trends to keep divisional games at the end of the schedule. I am also excited to get tickets for Sofi with the Chargers.

My guess would be Redskins or Rams with outside chance of Cowboys or Lions.  NFL loves ratings above all else and loves sticking the Cowboys in prime time on week 1.  New coach, Dak back.  They will have all the preseason hype from national media that they always get.

Ouch!

It's more insulting to Hurts because they're trying to compare him to someone that's just not in his league. Mahomes had a down year and had better stats than a lot of QBs. Using total stats to make it seem like they're the same is laughable. It's not being a hater because it's the same for the other QBs
