So when you said, "NFL is going to do everything in their power so that they three peat. " who exactly is the NFL in your scenario and how are they doing these things in their power?

Again, I don't think they meet in a room and make a plan to make it so obvious that an investigation needs to be done.

As you've alluded to, there is a bias towards Mahomes/KC. That will continue, as it has in the playoffs for years. I expect that to continue and be on full display once again.

I think you're in denial if you don't think Goodell/execs have zero interest in the ratings, money, etc of having history be made with a team they clearly favor time and time again.

We just have to make that bias not matter.

Heard a stat this morning that the Eagles D is only allowing 11 points per game on turf in 5 games…5-0.  Fast D on a fast track…no way KC gets to 30 let alone 40

Wow. Never really thought of that. Here are the games:

1. New Orleans  -- allowed 12 points. The Saints ended up terrible, but they were crushing it after 2 weeks with 47 points week 1 against Carolina and 44 points week 2 against Dallas. We held them to 219 total yards, which is insane. They finished the year 21st in total offense at 320.1 yards per game (19.9 points), but that includes a bunch of games started by backup QBs later in the year.

2. At Giants -- held them to 3 points and 119 yards. Yes, 119. But they are the Giants...

3. At Cincinnati -- held them to 17 points and 280 total yards. The Bengals were the 9th ranked offense by yardage at 365.5 per game and averaged 27.8 points (6th in NFL). This was the most impressive showing by the defense on turf, given the quality of the opponent. Burrow carved us up early, then we adjusted and shut him down.

4. At Cowboys -- 6 points and 146 total yards. We annihilated Cooper Rush, but we were supposed to do that.

5. At Rams -- 20 points (14 before garbage time) and 290 total yards (222 before meaningless TD drive for 68 yards). The Rams had the 15th best offense by yardage (331.4) and averaged 21.6 points per game. The reputation of their offense and QB is much stronger than their actual production (Stafford quickly becoming comically overrated at this stage of his career). Still, they had Nacua, Cupp and Kyren Williams all playing.

I see... So they're not making it obvious but they're still conspiring on how to make it all happen? Who's all in on it? Does it go all the way to the top with Roger, or is there even someone he answers to?

You seem to be confused by the question I asked.

You asked who it is and what their power is. That's the refs and Roger

So Roger Goodell is giving out orders to all the crews who work Chiefs games to give preferrential treatment to the Chiefs? Do I have that right?

Absolutely. It's not coincidence.

All orgasms matter

Coming soon to NFL endzones.

The Chiefs are definitely benefiting from getting the calls, mostly because of Maholmes. He has taken the beton from Brady who was also getting lots of calls.
It’s clear that in critical moments they have gotten the calls.

With that being said, I don’t think it has anything to do with a conspiracy. The word conspiracy has really gotten out of hand in the US. I know we can’t talk politics here and I will refrain from it, but in my opinion everything seems to be a conspiracy these days… elections, refs, shootings etc.. Is there no normal anymore these days?!

it doesn’t matter… we need to play lights out and leave no doubt on this Sunday. Go Birds!🦅

F you, look at what you made me do.   Here are all the trades leading to Carson as well as everything that followed the Carson trade to Indianapolis.  (I'm going to need to go back later and double check everything, but I think I got most if not all)

1) @mattwill, @LeanMeanGM discuss.  In as much detail as possible.

2) I now need to build a 2023 draft trade chart.  Howie turning two 7ths into a future 5th had too much prior history with those 7ths to fit in this chart.  So its a circle on here.

3) Same with the 2024 draft trade chart.  The move to get Cooper accounts for 90% of the picks traded that draft.  But I did find one minor mistake in the 2024 draft trade chart, which is now fixed:

Let's shift gears for a second:

Social media is running rampant. The NFL is trying to grow all over the world and is continuing to play in multiple different countries around the globe. They have one of the most popular musical artists of all time, who also happens to be extremely popular globally, tied to that team. They are knocking on the door of history.

You think it's completely out of the realm of possibility that whomever says "Let's try to help them out a little, think of the profits!"

I don't.

I hate to break it to you, but money runs the world. If it's going to make them more money, they're going to try to make it happen.

stunning and brave

The NFL wants money and ratings, the storyline here is great regardless. If Eagles win it's taking down the "villain" and preventing 3peat, and in their eyes proving there is no bias of "collusion" with the refs. If the Chiefs win, it's another dynasty and a first time ever 3peat. Either way it's good for the NFL.

The refs obviously favor the Chiefs, and I'm glad the media is harping on it making it a storyline. Maybe that will get in the refs' heads and they will call a fair game. If it gives the Chiefs an edge in motivation, well they should already be motivated to win with history on the line. And the Eagles as underdogs have had that mentality. I'm not worried about either team's approach.

What I do hope happens is just that the refs end up calling a fair game, and when needed the reviews of replays/challenges get it right.

If  external motivation is required to get you to play your best game in the Championship, you are not a very competitive or even great. There are tons of players on teams not in this game that have monumental chips on their shoulders. Where did that get them?

I think that point of view is shortsighted and couldn't disagree more.  Motivation is personal.

Not going to lie, I knew it was going to be a complicated mess, but this exceeded my expectations.

Tim Donaghy rigged games, was caught and that had an entire crap storm that followed.

The NFL refs and execs are all good guys. They would never consider it!
