Wouldn't getting Carter be more of a pipedream? I would think it'd cost more to go from the bottom of the draft to the top right?

Yeah it's basically not possible considering the cost

Coop hasn't been the most reliable at fielding them cleanly either though.

I know he dropped one in the snow and had a fumble against Dallas I believe.

Not sure if there are others that I’m forgetting.

Reminder: Chiefs got their first TD of the game in SB58 off a Niners muffed punt. Chiefs probably lose that game if not for that play. Niners blew that game in so many ways.

We also had a ST punt disaster against them which killed us.

Now you got me worrying about Jake…😡

Just heard a crazy stat on the new Philly Special pod.

Since week 4, Hurts has only 13 pass attempts while trailing.

WR3?

Eagles have Kylie.  All three are pretty but Kylie wins with those cheekbones. Poor Jason if those girls inherit their mom’s looks. Better start cleaning that shotgun now.

Jesus this post suddenly got darker than any of those Japanese horror movies @hputenis is always telling us to watch.

Yeah he really is. Howie can't afford to let this guy go. I'll be sick if he does. We will be right back at square one at LB, which completely sucked, considering Dean won't play til late in the year.

I am guessing you don’t have or haven’t had a daughter in teenage years.

He doubled caught at least one other one, maybe two.

Anyone watching Jordan chasing Saquon into the end zone last game has to question that he is the slowest of those players but that’s because of how athletic the Eagles starting OL are.

I don't think you're understanding the conversation. Athletes (for the most part) are always going to try. Several of them use every source of material they can to help focus and motivate them as much as possible. This has been noted by hundreds of players hundreds of times. That's why we wore dog masks in 2017, to personify that chip on the shoulder of being an underdog.

I don't know why you're trying to argue otherwise, but many athletes would disagree with you and again, I doubt you've played a sport above an intermediate level at best.

Scheelhasse staying with the Rams. We interviewed him last year for OC even though Sirianni couldn’t remember his name. Cross him off the list.

Is that the guy who seemed to be Illinois QB for about 20 years?

yep. looked it up. he was their QB.

Well, to be fair, the Eagles haven't trailed very much since then.  Even in the one game they lost, they were leading nearly the entire game... until they weren't.

"It would be a no-brainer if you said, 'Hey, you've got a chance to get Wayne Gretzky on your team,' or 'You get a chance to have Michael Jordan on your team,'" Brady said. "'Ahh, we don't need him. No thanks, we're good.' In my mind, I'm kind of thinking, okay, let me go show those teams what they're missing. And at the same time, let me go prove to the team that did bet on me, and the team that really showed that they really wanted me and committed to me, that I'm not going to let them down."

"They passed me up six times in 2000, so f--k them and that whole staff that kept me out because I had a chip on my shoulder for a long time," Brady said.

Doesn't exist. Athletes don't use anything as motivation other than trying their very hardest!

Looks more like someone's uncle.

Had a dream last night where Mahommes did that slow move at the sideline to try to draw a hit out of bounds call on a scramble/run and Hunt launched himself at Mahommes and hits him hard (like cobwebs hard) as he steps out of bounds.  Plasters him.  Mahommes gets up and motions for a flag and says something to suggest a PF call is warranted.  Ref stares at him, reaches for the flag and throws it.  (Now this is my sleep brain working so for the fact it’s my subconscious, I’m not upset.). The ref calls a PF on Mahommes for unsportsmanlike conduct for deliberately drawing the hit.  He states specify in the mic that Hunt was in the air when Mahommes was inbounds and couldn’t change that so not a PF but the sort of taunt and drawing the hit was on Mahommes and the signaling for the flag turned it to a unsportsmanlike conduct thus drawing the flag on Mahommes.  Really need to stop reading the Blog before I nod off.

Yeah… That was definitely a dream 😂

yup...my oldest daughter came home from living abroad for a few years and has been coming over to watch Eagles games together. We also went to the Rams games so it has been a special year for me. She has been shaming me about finding a way to go to the SB ever since the NFCCG....sooooo...we are flying out early on Sunday morning from SF and going to the game and flying back after the game...knocking this one off my bucket list...

Baun is amazing and I'm ok with the Eagles rolling out the brink truck to keep him.  But he was the missing piece in this defense.  The link between a precociously dominant secondary and probably the best collective interior DL in the NFL.

You don't start building a defense with the off ball LB.
