I’m re-watching the NFC championship game. Jayden Daniels just scored on his rushing touchdown with five minutes to go in the third quarter…. and then danced even though his team was still down by two scores. The first time I saw this, I remember thinking "well that’s kind of dumb“… What I don’t remember is any media members giving him a hard time about it.  Maybe I’m just old-school…,

 

Turned down the chance to get last minute SB tix lower level 40 yard line today at a really good price.  Call me crazy, but I already had plans.

Some players leave for more money, even leaving a SB winning team for a lesser organization.

Others stay with a solid, winning organization with good leadership and culture. DeVonta Smith could have signed a much bigger contract somewhere else, so could other players. They choose to stay and Howie takes care of them well enough.

Becton recently talked about how Philly accepted him and treated him so well. Baun was given a chance here and flourished. Smart players might know that's the system, coaching, organization, the team around them. And they can end up staying and continuing to compete for championships.

People criticize Hurts for being too stoic when he's focused, ignore/forget that he is very hype and vocal in pre-game, huddles, after scoring and after winning. 

Daniels was hyped by the media, they're not going to be critical when he had such a good rookie season.

yup...my oldest daughter came home from living abroad for a few years and has been coming over to watch Eagles games together. We also went to the Rams games so it has been a special year for me. She has been shaming me about finding a way to go to the SB ever since the NFCCG....sooooo...we are flying out early on Sunday morning from SF and going to the game and flying back after the game...knocking this one off my bucket list...

Yea, it’s the second highest tag # because of that even though "DE” has its own tag number. It would be around $25-$27M to tag Baun 

People need to accept the reality that Baun will not be back.
