I want as many people picking against the Eagles as possible.

And I think national types picking against the Eagles is as much to do with national people not liking Jalen Hurts as much as it is the Mahomes and Reid angle. Many national people are not fans of Jalen Hurts, and I think him being in a Super Bowl runs counter to everything they believe about the game of football and it would annoy them if the Eagles won a SB with a guy who's not going to light the NFL up with 4,000 passing yards and a 35/8 TD/INT ratio.

I wouldn't psychoanalyze the pundits.  They'll keep picking Mahomes/Reid until someone stops them.

Fair enough, i was to lazy to look at his actual stats against them last year i just knew they won lol.

I looked a little bit more into the KC game last year. For the Super Bowl, Spagnuolo blitzed 42% of the passes. Last year, he blitzed Hurts 54%. His defense was very much more effective last year than the SB so I would expect he's going to be bringing more blitzes again this time around.

Kelce wasn't very Kelce during the regular season.  Less than 10 yards a reception.

He got a few weeks off and is now playing like himself in the postseason.

I also didn’t realize Kelce has been on a decline. Wonder if he calls it quits after this

Oh look I’m an old man gloating about the 91 defense… what’d they win? Oh yeah, jack squat. Who cares. F them.

Well now I'm an angry old man.

Well to keep it real, every team blitzed the hell out the Eagles last year.  Our route concepts to beat it were non existent.  If they blitz that much again, it means they completely shut down the running game…which I don’t see happening.  Plus, they’ve handled the blitz far better this year anyway

Sure seems like the Eagles are trying to sell Patullo.

Patullo also did an interview yesterday explaining his role and how he's "half Head Coach, half OC" already.

So he's half GM too?

Goedert gets + 10 because he is too ugly to date Taylor Swift.

That would be 150%.  So I doubt it.

So, 10% GM, and he's giving 110%?

Hey everyone, for the Super Bowl, let's do all of the Gameday stuff (at least during the game) in the Super Bowl Gameday Thread so that it's all in one place.

Ok.  Are you guys ready on your end for a huge spike in volume?  Going to set a record and then some.

I brought this up during the season, his yard per reception is really down. 8.5 yards per reception. Some of that is the attention when rice went down and brown being out. But he’s not running the same as he used too. He’ll have a big game here and there. Now he’s probably gonna make me eat my words in the Super Bowl, but really for the most part this year he hasn’t looked like he has even two years ago.

Just for giggles I went through the Eagles TD log for the regular season and playoffs, specifically as it pertains to Saquon.  He scored 13 TDs rushing and 2 TDs receiving during the regular season.  The yardage on his TDs is:

18 yards, 11, 2, 65, 4, 3, 20, 19

Then, starting in Week 11 against the Commanders it ramps up:

23 yards, 39, 70, 72, 25, 2, 68

Then in the playoffs he has scored 5 TDs:

78 yards, 62 yards, 60 yards, 4 yards, 4 yards

That is seven TD runs during the season of 65+ yards.  For anyone thinking the Chiefs will be able to do anything to take the Eagles out of the run game -- it's not going to happen (or shouldn't).  When your RB is your best home-run threat to score points quickly, you shouldn't be abandoning it for any reason.

Yeah me too lol

The only thing that could be done for that would be to upgrade the hosting package, would would be a big increase in cost to jump to the next level. In the past, I'd asked if we could do that temporarily for a single game or for a few months, and they said 'no', it would be for an entire year.

It was clearly @vikas83

Ok.  Crossing our fingers then.  This may crash the board, particularly if we win.
