He was always out of our price range. He will get 20 to 22 a year. @TEWand I were only ones calling it.

Yeah, if you just look at where contracts are for this caliber of player and how desperate teams are for interior pressure, he was always going to get a monster contract.

I’m just hoping we can keep Becton and Baun.

Alot of non Eagles fans probably loved KC getting destroyed.

Great game for an Eagles fan.  Not an awesome game for someone "just hoping for a great game.” Not good at all.  But not many people were watching this game for that.  It was probably cathartic for a lot of football fans to see KC get wrecked.

I missed it. He said he was retiring?

No but some on here are speculating he might.

Well, post game live is over. Calling it a night.

Enjoy!

It's nice to win the Super Bowl and all, but I have a lot of complaints about today's win that I think need to be aired.

* Too many penalties on field goal attempts. We were pushed back five yards every time. I realize Elliott made all of those kicks anyway, but this is something that simply cannot continue if we want to be contenders in the future.

* Pickett was 0 for 1 and lost yardage on every one of his runs. I expect more than that from my backup quarterback, especially one that I traded a third round pick to acquire. He has to do better than that.

* I believe that every single time that we blitzed, Mahomes completed a pass. Unacceptable.

* Our vaunted first round pick gave up a touchdown pass. That should not happen.

* Barkley was completely shut down. With an offensive line that gets as much credit as they do, this should not be happening. WTF.

* Goedert was mostly invisible. We need to utilize our tight ends more, especially when they are as highly paid as he is. Boo.

* Jalen Carter was neutralized throughout the game. I realized we got a lot of sacks and pressures, but I expect more from someone who was picked in the top ten of a draft only two years ago. Is he closing in on bust territory yet? I'm not sure at this point but maybe.

* That interception by Hurts was horrific. If I'm paying my quarterback oodles of dollars, I expect him to not gift wrap interceptions to the other team when we're in the red zone. That was gross, as it cost us a chance at points.

* Oh...my...God...Sydney Brown and Tristan McCollum were brutal on that last touchdown by the Chiefs. It is obvious that they are not the answer for the future. Howie really blew it with that Brown selection two years ago. Is it time to move on from Howie at this point? It might be worth considering.

Feel free to celebrate, everyone. But at least I understand the core issues here. I'm definitely pissed about what I saw tonight.

How's that?

First half

This defense line was beyond stupid

Kellen Moore is good in my book. He emptied the clip in his swan song. Good luck with the Saints.

Saved his clip for the most important moments.

Don’t care if it was Mahomes, Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson, none of them would’ve been successful tonight against that defense.

It'd be criminal to let Baun walk

Eagles window is still open. He's going to be right back into the playoffs. He's just building onto his legacy now

Not sure if you like rap music but some think Kendrick Lamar is the greatest rapper ever.

I like some of his songs but no he's not.

I don’t listen to rap and I think it’s a stretch to call it music but, regardless, why just hold a mic and lip sync everything?  If you’re a musician, shouldn’t you be able to perform?

I don’t respect any musician who doesn’t/cant play any instruments on stage.

There weren't many Chiefs fans at the place I was at but they left by halftime

Just reiterating that Howie absolutely kills it when he drafts great athletes.  Now, great athlete and combine warrior have a lot of overlap, but are not one and the same.

Williams, Carter, Mitchell, DeJean, Hunt, Sweat, and Smith all had varying degrees of combine success but are unquestionably immensely talented athletes.

Absolutely!

Looking forward, this is the key. No more great college players who are mediocre athletes. The only way we can keep this talent level up is with development of high upside players.

Athleticism first, work ethic second, college production third. Obviously in the first two rounds, the college production should be pretty high as well.

Hopefully Brady and Raiders don't go crazy

Not my kind of music, but I respect that it is art and incredible to others.  That said, I don’t think it translates well to this kind of venue.

Jason Kelce retired 1 year too early.  Could have had another one.

Right. You're champs.  Keep going until someone knocks you off.

He made a play in the first half

I kind of rolled the dice and didn't restrict anyone, but I was keeping an eye on things to see if things got overloaded and was ready to shut off guest access. From what I saw, that wasn't necessary. If there were slow downs, that's on me. But every time I checked on things, everything was going well.

Raiders aren't going to be a contender unless they do some miraculous offseason trades and draft and even then I seriously doubt they're a playoff team

I haven't read any of this board tonight. Will chime in. Are we still byatching about Jalen?! 😅 You guys need to eat alot of crow. Every one of you!! And I will silence you when I NEED TO going forward. Stated many times he's more than good enough. And to never forget that all time performance in 2023. Vivid in my mind and knew that this guy is a winner!! Period.

He's a stud and 26 years old. We will win with him AGAIN and AGAIN. He is actually neck and neck with Mahomes at this point. Wake up!

🍻 to all the true believers here. You other ones don't know football like you thought you did. Later!

He already said he's coming back next year.

I only had issues twice, both in the first half. Refreshed and it worked fine.
