Yeah it's a big decision. Because on the flip side, if it's a disaster you may not get another chance.

I think if he was a really top end coaching prospect like Ben Johnson then yeah he could risk pushing it off a year.  But he got passed over by a bunch of teams this cycle. If the offense regresses he could be screwed. We'll see.  I hope he stays but just doesn't seem like he will.

Both are rotational. I think Milton is going to be a rotational player throughout his career. Somebody paying him and expecting him to thrive against double teams would be a huge miscalculation.  I like Williams but honestly am very aware of his snap counts throughout the year. I don’t think Ojomo replaces him but I also think there is a tendency to misevaluate his value.  His whole career he has played alongside a beast at DT, Cox and then Carter.

Do agree here to a point. But they just have to overpay Milton at this point and keep this Superbowl defense together. Same with Baun. Team chemistry is wild right now and hasn't even peaked yet. Cant break it up. Williams was a beast yesterday and proved he's for real. We don't have to worry what he's worth elswhere and if he would handle double teams or not. On this defense, he's a stud and a key component right now. If we want to remain dominant that's the move to make. Also, he will probably play several more snaps going forward to justify a huge salary. He's a must keep!

Overpay Baun and him and we are good. The rest of free agents will be more easily replaced in house and with draft. I prefer more depth on defensive line anyway as they rotate in and out much more. Stout will take care of a backup for Steen if we lose Becton. Keegan could be the answer anyway. With Ojomo starting you don't have much there, besides Davis. And Davis is no sure thing after next year anyway.

Just saw this, Jalen Hurts is the first QB from the 2020 class (Burrow/Tua/Herbert/Love) to win a Super Bowl.

Means Kellen can't take one of our position coaches for his DC. We get to keep Parker and King.

Do the Eagles bring in competition for Elliot?

Who can compete with 2 Lombardi trophies?

Unless he's a post-June 1, it doesn't make sense financially to get rid of him. He still played at a pretty high level this year. Yes, he got banged up, but he played great. I'm all for him coming back, but I still want a bigger role for Ringo. I'd love for Rodgers to come back too, but I just don't see where there's room and that money needs to be used on the big dogs.

He has a $16M option bonus due that doesn't make sense financially.

Hurts mvp and well deserved. Plus our defense was unbelievable.

I agree well deserved.  I personally would have given it to the D-Line as a group, but I doubt that complies with the NFL rules for MVP voting.

Hurts’ was definitely an MVP performance

That QB ranking list that @TEW and I discussed recently needs some serious revising.  Hurts clearly moved up into the top 5 and arguably has to be discussed in the same breath as Mahomes.

Gotcha.  So nothing to do with Staley.  That makes sense.   I just couldn't see why we'd care if he hired Staley.

How is it once in a lifetime? They are going to be outstanding next year again. He'll have plenty more offers. Probably better ones than that tire fire with no cap room. The Saints are going to be very bad next year. Id rather be the first officer on a state of the art ship over captaining a sinking one..

I said "potentially”… In any event, weird crap and injuries happen all the time in football. No guarantee they’re going to be outstanding next season if the injury bug strikes, they let most of their FAs go, etc.

What websites are best for SB gear, besides Fanatics?

Fanatics sucks IMO

Um, Daniel, Washburn is the OLB coach.  Can you explain Huff?

That's what I was thinking. What does NO have on their roster to attract a coach? Nothing. And in cap hell on top of it. Poorly run franchise these days. The eagles will be outstanding again next year. Maybe wait for a better job like the Bills Coordinator did.

There's also a major scandal involving the Archdiocese and the Saints' ownership.

Someone that can consistently nail 50 + yard field goals?

I could see Rodgers coming back. I don't think he'll cost a lot and I could see him wanting to stick around given the Eagles resurrected his career. Whatever they do at CB, I hope they keep DeJean right where he is. Perfect NCB

My view on this is I think Mahomes has been slightly overrated, especially the last 3 years, with a Championship defense and Spags. And Hurts has been vastly underrated. And now the gap is virtually gone after besting him majorly in 2 out of 2 Superbowl appearances. I'm leaning Hurts at this moment based on actual performances in big games. And head to head.

As we know, Mahomes stats yesterday are empty stats and mostly done in garbage time and when game was over.

The thighs in question...

So...I was in San Diego back to back weeks in mid January, and will be headed back a few more times this month through the end of March...in downtown SD, and especially on Coronado Island I think it there is a dress code that requires yoga pants for the female residents. This is all they wear, it's crazy.

The best part? Most of them actually have the body for it and can pull it off, unlike a lot of women in the south...

He was money last night. Even having to kick several two times because of penalties. Maybe it's out of his head.

Can’t pass up a potentially once in a lifetime opportunity. He’ll take the job.

I know people generally think HC jobs are rare and too attractive to pass up. But you also see coaches fail and have to go back to being coordinators.

Moore could continue being successful with a winning organization, try to repeat as SB champion again, and wait for a better HC opportunity in a better run organization. These guys need to set themselves up for success as well.

They count how many bodies are coming after the QB.  If its 4 or fewer, its not a blitz.  5 or up is a blitz.

Ah, what’s in a name?

BTW, Elliot delivered when asked.

Even on the three kicks that didn't count because of penalty.

He and Lovato now have two rings.

11 for 11 yesterday

I still feel like last night was some type of acid induced fever dream. I cannot believe the dismantling that took place. It wasn't even just an ass whooping, every. single. Eagle. showed up. Dotson, Maddox, Elliott, Hunt, Sweat, Davis. EVERYONE played phenomenal.

I think there is a legitimate argument that the least effective player on the field was Rick Lovato.

I think you’re likely right, just more so curious if they actually bring in a body to compete with him during camp.
