Since the last time the Cowboys won the Super Bowl in January 1996 (29 years):

The Eagles have:

Been to the NFCCG 8 times
Been to the Super Bowl 4 times
Won the Super Bowl 2 times

The Giants have:

Been to the NFCCG 3 times
Been to the Super Bowl  3 times
Won the Super Bowl 2 times

The Commie Redskins have:

Been to the NFCCG 1 time

The Cowboys have:

It's almost 30 years! Wow

Just heard a fun stat.

Mahomes had 23 total yards in the first half.

The Eagles had 24 total points in the first half.

lol

Eagles had more sacks than the Chiefs had first downs in the first half. At one point Dotson had more yards than the Chiefs had total yards. 😂

Jokes are funny no🤔

I have a lot of thoughts and I’m still processing the whole thing.

I’m excited, relieved, a little vindicated for 2022. But there’s also this weird feeling of, "Yeah of course they won the SB” that I didn’t feel in 2017 and wouldn’t have in 2022.

2017 was lightning in a bottle. Felt special, but if we’re being real, I don’t think they would’ve beaten the Saints.

2022, our defense was a sheep in wolf’s clothing. Total frauds that beat up on bad QBs, exposed by even the Derek Carrs on the world. Got cupcake QB matchups on the way to the SB.

This 2024 team? Ran through 4 guys who will all be on a lot of top 10 QBs lists in 2025. Arguably top 5-10 at every position group on offense AND defense.

This is the best Eagles team of all time.

So many media STARTING their programs today talking about the Chiefs instead of the Eagles. Their conversation is more about what the Chiefs did wrong, why Mahomes failed, they'll be fine they just need to ________ this offseason, blah blah."

Good Morning Football is the one that hyped the Eagles to start, especially the defense.

I think the difference for me going into Super Bowl 59 as compared to Super Bowl 57, I still didn’t trust Jonathan Gannon and his defense. It’s why i didn’t have a good feeling about that game. I thought we’d score points cause the chiefs defense was still not that great in 2022. For the two years Gannon was here, the Eagles defense tended to really struggle when they faced good qbs.  I think we got really hyped up because they looked good against Daniel Jones and they knocked out Brock Purdy in the nfc title game.

Whereas this Super Bowl, the defense had played good offenses this year and really stifled them. Outside of the first 4 weeks they were consistent. Outside of the commanders game they really shut down everyone down the stretch. So I had more comfortability trusting them. I’d add the chiefs offense the last two years has really not been very good. I mentioned this back when they faced Houston, Andy is still Andy. but I’d argue Matt Nagy is really not a very good OC and their OL isn’t nearly as good as it was in previous years. Thuney is a good G but he’s not nearly as good at LT and caliendo shouldn’t be a starter. Plus you had Taylor who imo is maybe average.

Easily the best Eagles team of all time, and I don't think it's close. The 2018 team was really good, but this team has superstars literally everywhere.

Once we learned we were playing the commanders I was pretty sure we were winning the super bowl. Once we ripped them to shreds and learned we were playing the chiefs I was still confident. Nobody was beating this team. This defense is incredible, which is why they need to extend baun and keep the line strong (whether it's keeping one of sweat/Williams or drafting a DT/DE and signing a FA like Mack). Keep this the best defense in the league and we'll have a shot every year

1st half Chiefs had 23 yards and 1 first down, they had 9 possessions that ended in a TO or Punt and in those 9 never passed mid field

Its the most dominant D Ive ever seen in a superbowl.

2002 Bucs knew the plays doesnt count

2000 Ravens were playing Kerry Collins and Jim Fassel not Mahommes and Reid.

85 Bears while probably best D ever played an overmatched Pats team that should have never been there.

This Eagles D flat out dominated one of the best offensive coaches and GOAT qbs.

There will be other HC positions next year. Teams in better positions to succeed than the Saints. This is the correct mindset.

I agree but Lurie said they're losing him, so unless he has a dramatic change of heart, I'd expect that announcement sometime after the parade

Look, he's literally asking for it! I knew my ish posting was fueling him
