Frankly, I think the Hurts discourse is just pointless and boring at this point. I mean if people wanna analyze it fine. I really don't care where he ranks. He's good enough to win a SB with, we know that now, and that's all I care about. The point is having a QB you can win SBs with and we got one.

Hardest part of the NFL is taken care of, now just focus on putting a good roster together year after year.

That's where everyone is at now but the obsessed ones aren't happy with that because they expected the smart ones to be mad.

Nope that's the season montage, they've never released full games. Looks like they might've stopped releasing even those though.

I know of a possible magic incantation that could result in DVDs of all the 2024 games. I was very familiar with this particular spell in 2004. I may have bought a Keith Byars football card that had special powers. Not sure if that's still a thing.

I think I'll do my annual QB rankings later tonight.

Yeah, watching his film he wouldn't move the needle for me.  Big guy with decent hands, but he doesn't have top-end speed to make a difference at the NFL level.  His burst is just okay.

I want Henderson

we are going to need a young rb and a te

if saquon were hurt the whole offense has to change

Surprised @HazletonEagleis still posting after Hurts won Super Bowl MVP. Impressive for a QB who allegedly can't read a defense.

When the team wins the SB, you lose coaches and players, because the other teams would pay up to get your guys.  Shouldn't the league award comp pick to the team that lost coaches?   Or the two teams involved would exchange draft picks in some round for the loss?

The parade is on Friday.  Will Moore participate?

Has nothing to do with physical media, I don't think they've ever released full games even on DVD.

I know, I own a copy, but yeah I don't think they're making them anymore.

You can find them online if you're okay with that avenue. I just found it 4K. Going to test it out in a bit.

FYI on watching all the games. NFL+ is about 100 bucks and you can watch red zone and all the games back to maybe 2012 are available for replay both broadcast and condensed.

I'd wait until August to get the next season instead of buying it for whatever discount rate they have for now until August.

I used to spend for Sling Blue 6 months a year but now I just get NFL+

2005 for Barkley and 1921 for Henry.. 5.8/carry for Barkley and 5.9 for Henry.  Henry had 16 rushing TD and Barkley 13.  He wasn't Saquon but saying not even close isn't exactly right either

You're right, I am wrong. I honestly thought Saquon had a lot more receiving yards than he does. The chemistry it takes to win the SB was on full display with this team, complete turnaround from last year defensively. the secondary infused with impactful youth, unexpected and solid LB upgrade & play, an improved pass rush...a legit running game, serviceable QB play in the regular season and tremendous QB play in the last two games of the year. The right formula...

One play I really loved was that 4th down try that was deflected by... holy crap, its Avante Maddox!

He's had a very up and down Eagles career but to see him make a big play in the Super Bowl was very satisfying.

That explains why the chiefs looked so bad.  They went into the game like:

I buy Hurts is a better qb when it matters most and I would take him over any of those qbs because of that. You would take those qbs over Hurts knowing they're going to choke in the playoffs? Like Dak for example

Everyone likes to throw around the Russell Wilson comp for Hurts, but Shannon Sharpe had an interesting one...Troy Aikman. Troy never had the numbers of Steve Young or Brett Favre, but he was efficient at what the team asked him to do. Dallas had a massive line, a great running game and a dominant defense. Troy led the team, made the throws that were needed and didn't turn the ball over. I'm sure Troy could have piled up more stats, but that's not what the team needed from him. Had Troy played in the era of fantasy football, people would have been criticizing him harder is my guess.

The Eagles need Hurts to use his legs and running threat to help the run game, throw is around 25 times for a high YPA and protect the ball. And he does it well.

Man remember when Dolphins players were kinda dragging Fangio after her left Miami because he wasn't a good guy?  I wonder how that's playing over with Dolphins fans now.

I think "winning" covers a lot of this up. If the Eagles weren't winning they would probably start dragging Fangio for being a hard ass too.

I was thinking about this after the game and yesterday. Fangio being paired with a bunch of young guys, many of whom played for Kirby Smart and were ready to work, was a perfect match. Q, Coop, Dean, Carter, Davis, etc. The knock of Carter was character and conditioning -- one year with Vic and he's playing basically every snap.

The Dolphins are a soft team.

This is all US? But maybe I can order some to my brothers place in Chicago and get him to ship it. Or collect it from him when I’m over later in the year.

I think Vic's style works better with younger players who are still used to the college type coaching. Jalen Ramsey isn't going to put up with being pushed...Q and Coop will.

Idk who follows what on Twitter, but has anyone seen this Jason Kelce stuff? He is catching a lot of heat from eagles fans and Kc fans/Taylor swift fans about the post he put out. This whole time he was playing both sides of the fence and it seems to be backfiring…I wish he would have come out and showed more support for the eagles and the fans, but I get his brother plays for KC…just feels like he’s having a little fall out with eagles fans on twitter

He had a reason to play both sides.  People are being stupid.   And frankly, why does anyone outside his friends and family care who he was pulling for?

He has friends still on the Eagles.  His brother played for the Chiefs.   As for the Swift fans... they are irrelevant.  Who cares at all? He is free to root for whomever he chooses.   Much ado about nothing.

We got better results with this method. I'll take it

It's supposed to be 'global' according to the link generator. I'll double check.

Aikman was the guy I talked about months ago in here.  Obviously, the NFL is different now so that role requires some running in the modern game which Troy couldn't do but there are a lot of similarities between what Dallas asked Troy to do and what the Eagles have asked Hurts to do.

Overall, this Eagles club is a lot like that Dallas era team that won three SBs.  No reason we can't get at least one more if not a couple more.
